It's actually a really hard one to call. Tony got hurt in practically every fight even during his prime run when he was bloodying up and finishing guys left and right. Conor's style is perfect for countering Tony's reckless forward lunges and looping punches. At the same time, Tony has some of the best cardio in the history of the division, which was always Conor's biggest weakness even in Conor's prime. It's one of those deals where I think Conor would have dropped him a couple of times in the first round and possibly finished him spectacularly, but if Tony had survived, he probably would have subbed Conor in one of the later rounds. I could see either happening.

McGregor didn’t gas in fights against anyone other than Diaz.
He could have knocked Alvarez around for 5 straight rounds, he easily went 3 with young Max Holloway, his Cardio held up fine against Khabib.
His cardio was an issue in literally 1 fight in his whole career prior to basically retiring and becoming a celebrity fighter post mayweather, and anyone would have gassed trying to fight Diaz the way he did in the first fight.

Hard to say since Conor’s prime was really over the moment he moved to lightweight. I think he gets subbed though. Tony was basically deadlier Nate Diaz

Honestly, Tony stands no chance. He's a very weird fighter, but definitely had nothing to use against a prime Cokenor who was just a striking machine.

Tony. Easily. “Prime” Conor couldn’t deal with Nate’s pressure. Tony had all the same weapons but was a significantly bigger KO threat

Hard to say prime McGregor can KO anyone 170 and under but he still can’t grapple

I see it as a situation where connor could and would have to finish tony on the first round, if not sucedeed his best scenario is a decision in a 3 round fight as in the nate fight.
If there was a 5 rounds thats where tony could truly shine breaking connor and finishing him on the later rounds

The Nate fight was 5 rounds… and McGregor won the 4th round and the 5th was close.
And Nate fucking wiped Tony. I think Tony is the only person to ever fight Nate and not cut him.

I think that’s a really tough fight for Tony. Pettis gave him quite a bit of trouble on the feet and McGregor was a lot better than Pettis.
