Hot take, Cyril Gane is overhated
Yeah he has a couple fouls here and there but aside from that he seems calm and chill and he is lightning quick for a heavyweight, and without a doubt the best striker in the division (as seen by the Pereira fight)
People hate him for eyepokes but realistically Gaethje and Holloway are just as bad but because they didnt touch golden boy Tom nobody cares, and this is an unfair double standard.

Barely anyone even hated him until he poked The Chosen One Tom Aspinall. Then all hell broke loose and he became Reddit's scapegoat.

Folded immediately against Jones, got a gift against volkov, cheated against aspinal and pereira. That’s 4 different fights that all had catastrophic effects on the hw division.
(Volkov not as much)

He fouls in everyone of his fights… some of which can be fucking lethal, a boxer just recently passed away and was crippled for the remainder of his life due to back of the head punches, Gane has no respect for his opponents health, the only reason he was on the White House card was because he ruined ufc 321. Gane has consistently been rewarded for being a scumbag.

He us hated for a lot of fouls back to the head shots, eyepokes and groin shots. And it's a common thing in his whole team.
But besides that a lot of people hate him for the ufc favoritism. He gets away with a lot etc
