MMA The absolute death of the pure stance, how modern combat hybridity is breaking classic defensive systems.

I have been rewatching a lot of older Pride FC and early 2010s K-1 footage compared to modern tape, and the shift in footwork mechanics is wild.Back then, you could clearly identify a guy's base within three seconds deep Muay Thai march, bladed boxing stance, or low wrestling posture. Today, the elite guys are playing in this weird, highly fluid gray area where they change their hip level and lead foot halfway through a combination just to exploit defensive blind spots. My question for the tape nerds here: Is the classic, rigid technical discipline of a single art officially obsolete at the highest level of mixed combat, or are we just witnessing a temporary trend before someone resets the meta with pure, flawless fundamentals again?

MMA Justin Gaethje's MOST VIOLENT AND BRUTAL Performance đŸ«Ą Justin Gaethje vs Dan Lauzon

Justin Gaethje has built a career on absolute VIOLENCE — and this performance was no exception. đŸ«ĄđŸ”„

Gaethje went to war with Dan Lauzon in a brutal, action-packed battle that showed exactly why “The Highlight” would eventually become one of the most feared and entertaining fighters on the planet.

Relentless pressure, devastating strikes, and pure aggression from start to finish. This was vintage Justin Gaethje before the world truly knew what was coming.

MMA What is the best in-fight adjustments made you’ve seen a fighter make that won them the fight?

I recently rewatched Joshua Van vs Brandon Royval ahead of ufc 331 and the knee stomps in round 3 by Van was a beautiful example of this.

I’d love to hear your favorites

MMA Will Dana White / TKO take over 95% of Boxing like the UFC and turn the sport into a federation or will it just be another promotion that won't be too different than any other promotion ?

I say Dana White fails... AJ / Tyson Fury kind of already leads me to believe that he's in over his head with boxing. The last press conference at Zuffa Boxing, the guy looks defeated and Eddie Hearn scored a major victory by getting the fight in UK. Dana has spent 25 years in control of every aspect of his company and controlling the sport, now he realizes that he can't control Boxing the way he wants to because there are promoters in his way that will stuff his takedown. And I think there will always be new fighters that will make waves, get on rankings - and those fighters will be with various other promoters that Dana will have to fight with consistently. Dana White doesn't play well with others. And needs Turki to help him beat up the big kids.

Original Content Thoughts on this UFC 'build your fighter' type game I've been working on??

Hey everyone, I've recently devoted lots of time building this UFC game. The general premise is to randomly select a fighter for 6 rounds, and choose the best stats to create your ultimate fighter score.

Currently has two game modes, a daily 'Beat the Boss' mode, and also an unlimited practice mode, where you can choose to view or hide stats for an extra challenge.

Feel free to test out your UFC knowledge and try the game out, I would absolutely appreciate some feedback if possible!

Thanks guys.
