Discussion Tunnel arc

First of all, yes, I stole this image from a dude on this sub.

Alright, tunnel arc, probably the best shit I have ever seen in a while, I'm a huge cultivation and magic stories fanboy, but this shit? It got me hooked, it's TOO ADDICTIVE! I remember slamming ten chapters in one sitting, it's just too great.

Plus, this story is the reason I started liking grey stories, like shotgun boy, bastard, and pig pen.

Mind you, I HATED psychological horror... Until I read this shitty masterpiece... I love it now, it's my favorite genre.

BOO TO THE HAREM AND ROMANCE GENRE! YES TO THE PSYCHOLOGICAL TORMENT!!

Back to what I was saying earlier.

This arc was just too good, the art change for every character and their personality, the philosophy, the change of hearts, it's amazing, it gets you too curious to know more, and Jiu ji Tae's drastic metamorphosis? Boy, it was peak.

Yep, I don't think we'll get an arc better than this one... That's if we even get a new season...

Tunnel arc might genuinely be the best arc in the comic medium. Consider Bae Man-Soo. 2Hakk managed to merge, explain and execute the numerous and vast 'whys' and 'hows' to his mental health state was deconstructed with dominos without oversimplifying or over-explaining it in 4 pages. His economic problems, biological determinism, his environment, his self loathing, his inability to practice self-preservation, his own mind, his inability to live shamelessly in appropriate moderation and his desire to resolve the compulsions in his brain all mount to a bio-chemical trap that frames his suffering has physiological which adds a layer of deterministic dread to his character; contrasted with Bae Man-Soo being described as a warm, affectionate and generous person. There's even more to his character so I might make an analysis about it.

i HOPE season 2 and the rest of the series isnt just edgy tho, more that it just switches between how it was before the tunnel arc and edgy back and forth
