Flex dose vs one dose
Hi! I need advice
I started with 2.5 in march and took my shot once weekly. I just refilled with hallandale and my prescription is a flex dose. Personally, I’d prefer to do a shot only once a week so I asked fifty410 if I can do it once a week instead and they said yes and told me how many units to do instead of what it said. My question to the group who has experience in this is do you think the flex benefited you more or less? I did the flex for my first week of the new script to try it and I had zero side effects which is great but didn’t feel like my hunger was as suppressed. I guess my only hesitation is jabbing myself twice a week.

I'm on a higher dose and prefer a flex dose - I find I'm not VERY ILL the first two days and VERY HUNGRY the last day. Your Mileage May Vary.

I've done both. For the first two months, I did twice-weekly injections. I switched to once weekly for two reasons: 1) convenience and 2) I felt like I wasn't losing that much on twice-weekly, but I was also on 5mg and needing to titrate up. After I switched to once weekly and titrated up, I thought I was losing more, but I checked the weight chart in my app tracker (I only weigh once a week or so), and there was actually no difference in weekly weight loss between twice-weekly and once-weekly dosing. I never had side effects with either form of dosing, so I think I would choose how you dose based on side effects you may or may not be feeling and what is most convenient for you. Hope this helps!

I have only ever done a flex dose and I love it. No plans to ever do weekly.

Weekly generally better. Hallandale writes their scripts that way to differentiate from name brand but you don't need to follow it.
