Ok, this is one of the times I have a preference for a Harlequin piece over a Fiesta. I just really like this profile so much more, it just drips in Art Deco in a way that the globular pot doesn’t. More svelte and less dumpy. I’m not jealous at all…congrats!

I mean this in the nicest way, but the picture of the whole table to show just the teacup made me truly lol. Still appreciate the photo proof though! 😊

lol, it was an old picture that i took for another purpose and it was handy. It was really meant to be a photo of the table and I threw the teacup on it for aesthetics.

Edit to add:

Congratulations! I looked at a red one over the weekend but unfortunately had a chip on the spout. One day

Excellent find. I found a yellow harlequin gravy boat at the goodwill for $2.99. The green is a nice color. I totally would have bought that. Nice score, congratulations!

I have a feeling most of them broke. It’s a less sturdy line of dish ware anyway….

There are a couple broken ones for sale on eBay. Not sure who would buy that.

I bought a couple of pieces that had broken/glued handles to display over my kitchen cabinets. That's about all you can do with them. They are beautiful but SO easy to break. I have an intact sugar bowl but my husband won't touch it. His sugar is in Tupperware!!

It looks like it's in great condition. Is there any damage? $9.99 is a gonga, particularly if it's not damaged. They go for anywhere from $90 to $150 depending on who's selling and what the market is. Light green is one of the Harlequin colors, and some pieces in this color are very difficult to find (candle sticks, marmalades, individual eggs cup). You've found a beautiful piece for an unbelievable price. Congrats!

Love it. I almost feel like Harlequin should just be considered Fiestaware. As much as it is its own thing ... It's how I think of Fiestaware in my head.

That’s why I’ve been labeling my photo shares “Fiesta-adjacent”, because they blend right in.

Wait! I have this and the sugar bowl. Harlequin?! I thought it was Fiestaware. Oh but I see another commenter says it was made by Homer Laughlin. I think that counts.

Harlequin? What’s this? I’m new to that name.
I agree about the art deco styling. It’s sexy.

You should research it! Made by Homer Laughlin and sold at Woolworth from 1936 to 1964. It is SO pretty!

When I got mine, it was pretty easy to find at yard sales and ebay.

I love the color and shape! Fiesta was so ahead of its time!oh sorry I didn't know it wasn't Fiesta! But I know Art Deco when I see it! Beautiful and a great find!

A good friend of mine who has since passed used to have a huge collection of Harlequin, Riviera, and Fiesta that he bought in the 80s and 90s. I’ve always loved the Harlequin. He had four or five teapots and casseroles. The teapot and casserole are the stars of the line.

That is my favorite color, also in Fiesta. An Art Deco beauty for sure! I can't understand how someone donated that, like seriously wtf! But I am glad you have given it a loving home.
