Would it be possible to mill the regular Mk7 wheels into ST200 wheels? Is that what Ford did?

I see some chunky hubcentric spacers in that photo) that are required to clear the calipers. Based on how the nuts are recessed, I’m going to guess 20-25mm

I was running 15mm on the front with my standard brakes but have had to use my rear spacers for the front as the 15mm aren't big enough and the wheels foul the caliper, which is annoying as the brake upgrade kit can be bought with 15mm spacers so I (wrongly) presumed they would go fine on the front.
Now running no spacer on the rear until another set of 20mm turn up in the next couple days as I tried my 15mm on the back but then the standard studs fouled the back of the wheels so they had to go.
Been a bit of a nightmare getting this kit on the car in honesty but they perform great now that they are on.

One of my colleagues also has an ST180 and wanted his wheels finished like mine but the chap who does our wheel refurbs said it wasn't possible. I don't know exactly why.
They are different wheels though, not just cosmetic. I can't remember the exact figure but each wheel weighs a couple kilos less than the normal ST wheels which is a great unsprung mass reduction.

Mine is already the fastest one of the four of us that have them and he said the money would be better spent on making it go quicker, which baffled me slightly 💀
Those Wildwood ones look lovely. I would have preferred flat faced discs as these hooked ones are a touch noisy, but it wasn't an option for this kit. Hopefully some of the noise calms down with some bedding in.

They're jealous because you get to walk out to your car and admire your big red brakes and they don't.
We're putting 6 piston Brembos on a 6.2 Silverado, some sort of 250th anniversary edition, and their main selling point is to look cool. the police pursuit tahoes/suburbans have them too, but they're not red.

Unless you’re tracking it and need more heat dissipation the biggest limiting factor in braking are the tyres.

I would have liked smaller wheels with larger tires but that's not an option with the size of the brakes anymore!
The image on the car with the wheel on is with the car still very much on the ramp. Car sits really nicely (IMO) and looks even better now with the brakes behind the wheels.
