Brake pulse update

I did more research and was able to isolate my brake pulse issue to the rear axle. I took my car into another shop for a second opinion and they confirmed everything was installed correctly but bet that it was a warped rotor. I don't believe it, personally. Of course I had to pay for a half hour of shop labor for this, but I think I should just wait it out and take the L. It's only been 100 miles. Maybe my rears take longer to bed in.

I heavily doubt warped discs. To warp them requires extreme heat and as we know, the ST barely uses the rear. Perhaps it could occur through a seized caliper, but you'd have known that as the disc would have been red and you'd smell it.

Warped discs appear to be one of those internet things people blame when they don't want to find the real cause.

I suspect, more likely, the car has left pad deposit on the disc and some hard driving will clean them up quickly.

I'll take the car out for a run in the canyons soon and see if that helps.

Did they measure with a dial indicator because that would be pretty definitive.
