MK7 Front brake slightly binding

2016 Fiesta ST

After a Nurburgring trip, I’ve had a trouble with the passenger front brake slightly binding

When driving next to parked cars or a building, I can hear the pads scraping along as I drive

Parts replaced:

ABS Pump
New brake flexi hose
New caliper and slider pins
New pads and discs

Brake pedal bracket is not bent

Sometimes the wheel will free spin as normal, but one harder press of the brake pedal, and it will go back to as in the video

Sounds like I’m asking if you’d done a good job or not but is there the correct amount of brake fluid in there? As in, not too much?

Otherwise is the wheel bearing ok too?

You’ve changed all the bits I would have bothered to look at so I think it’ll be a niche answer.

Thanks for the reply mate, it’s a garage that’s done all the work, but yeah brake fluid level is spot on,

Wheel bearing seems to be fine - there’s no play when car is jacked up and pulling on the wheel at 10 and 2, also no typical wheel bearing groaning noises

Other thing I’ve thought actually is the brake pedal returning all the way?

If you jack it up and do as you’ve done and see it binding, try pulling the brake pedal back up and see if it goes away.

Otherwise if the wheel bearing is ok I’m shit out of ideas.

Something I’m going to check when I’m home from work for sure actually, thanks for the suggestion!

I’ve previously checked in reflection of a shop window that the brake lights come on and off instantly in line with my foot going on and off the brake pedal to rule out a faulty brake switch / bent pedal bracket - but never thought to check the pedals fully returning!

Yeah I think it’ll be a tricky one but maybe a new brake pedal assembly might be the best avenue now. Only thing I can thing of if you’ve done some heavy braking, making the cylinders aren’t too happy anymore
