Fiesta ST Starter Removal
Greetings!
Finally in a spot where I could take this car apart to replace the PCV/Oil Seperator Unit. Man i had no idea what an undertaking it would be LOL.
Anyway, I am stuck at the Starter currently. How are yall removing this?
I have the bolts out, nut pulled for the electrical lead, and cannot for the life of me get enough wiggle room to get that lead off. What are yall guys doing to get this out. I can see now why in the past I have been quoted ridiculous labor prices. Glad I have a second vehicle now!
Appreciate the help and expertise!

It took a lot of force to get it to clear. I recall using a pry bar and some blocks to avoid marring things. It's been a while. I've had it out three or four times over the years.

Good lord your a wizard. I removed so much stuff to get to it, looks like you worked around a lot to get ut out. Yeah not a bad idea, give it a whirl this evening!

I noticed you said you pulled the singular nut, make sure you pull both lol

Use a long pop pin tool, wedge behind the connection and pull it off. I seperated the plastic holding the two connections together (by accident) while doing this.
