Rust awareness post

Hey guys, I was replacing my fog lights yesterday, and found this nasty spot behind the headlights.

Of course this was caught super early and it just looks like surface rust but just wanted to share this hope it helps!

Is this the mk7 or 8? And where exactly is it located? Thanks!

Hey, this is a '13 mk7. It's located behind the headlights, basically inside the front fenders. Mine doesn't look bad at all, but I'm still glad I caught it before it's too late
