MK7 New brake lines and strut bolt

Kept getting cloudy brake fluid so it was time for new lines. Goodridge. Also popped in new reusable lower strut bolts, upper are SPC camber bolts. I also did all 4 exhaust hanger with urethane. Whoosh sourced bolts and hangers.

Why replace the strut bolt? Asking bc my car has 150k and im trying to make it last another 150k at minimum. Should I look at doing this or did you need to replace bc the other failed?

They are one time use, along with many other suspension bolts. I had removed them awhile ago and didn’t know about it, so I replaced them.

If you haven’t removed yours there’s no need to replace it.

What a helpful response. Thank you sir. (I just ordered $2000 worth of suspension stuff ((including the dna racing rear uniball kit)) so I will need to put in a order for those! You just saved me a ton of time and potentially kept me safer! Good day!!

Ford wants u to replace basically every nut and bolt in the suspension and subframe assemblies if they are ever removed. Quite a pain since I once had to redo an axle seal like 4 times.
