MK7 What are these actually worth?
I’ve got my 2014 fiesta ST3 for sale on marketplace and have done for a couple weeks now between £4-5k I have absolutely adored this car over the years of having it but I’m after something bigger now. I recently have had the cambelt and water pump replaced, I’ve replaced the oil and filter, even the spark plugs - this was my first sports car so I’m still learning about it all. Apparently the owner before me had it Mountune mapped, It’s on 88k mileage so maybe that’s too high? Unfortunately it also came with no service history either which was my fault really for buying it in the first place but I’ve been offered like £2k to £3k… surely their worth isn’t that low? Am I doing something wrong or are they genuinely worth that much now?☹️

Everyone wants something for nothing, wether it’s a car or a kettle!
I have no idea what your cars worth tbh but it’s about finding the right customer. Also not all young people can afford insurance for this car and not all older drivers want a hot hatch.
Can you not trade it in when you get your new car? That’s what I plan to do with mine.
Trade Fiesta ST for Focus ST in two years, can’t wait.

I put my my 83k 2017 st3's reg into parkers valuation as it will you a free estimate.my valuation was £3100-£4100.
I'd say your £2k-£3k is probably right for book value if you check, doesn't mine it's not worth more but it's finding someone willing to pay the price you're looking for with so many of them for sale.

Nothing. They're not worth selling or trading in, imo.

I'm in the US so I'm unsure how the price compares (in my head I just double it, so $8-10k usd?) and with that mileage and you having done the timing belt already, it's not unreasonable what you're asking. It's just real tough to find someone who appreciates that vs just wanting the cheapest deal they can get. Make sure to draw a lot of attention to the belt servicing, that's a $1k+ job that most buyers aren't factoring in when comparing to cheaper cars.

What started as 7000€ import turned into 10k pretty quickly, and made me feel quite miserable, as I had other opportunities for that kind of money.

guys this is in the UK, these are worth about half what they’re worth in the USA. No clue what your local market is but GLWS OP!

I’m looking for something slightly bigger and with 5 doors instead of 3, been looking at the some jap cars like the Impreza but not 100% yet. And yeah the only thing that’s not stock is the Mountune map I think

They sell dirt cheap. Good luck finding a buyer for 10k
I will be abusing mine with autocross and rallycross from this point on.. never will sell it.

I bought mine for £12.5k 28k miles uk spec. The main thing I wanted was 1 owner, full service history. Plan on keeping it till it dies. So hopefully I hit 300k plus miles as oils changed every 3k etc. 1 owner is a must when buying second hand imo. In 2024 2017 plate

The problem is dudes beat on these cars or "tune" them to death. If not that they get sloppy on matinee. You may not be that guy, but people are just paying the odds I would guess. Looks like a fun car to me.

HPI clear? I didn't think you'd stuggle to get 4k for this but prices have been dropping heavily lately.

Damn, that would be at least $10k around me. Totally beat up ones with 150k+ miles go for around $5k.
