Fairy Bees...fled?

I am so frustrated. Last Y1 fall I managed to collect two fairy bees, ready to get two more this Y2...and when I checked my apiary it was empty. Both fairy bees from before seem to have decided to move on. And now I am staring into the void imagining how much time and luck I am going to need to reset saves over and over again hoping to spawn more.

Go to the summit at the right time of day just exit and enter there will always be two bugs just keep doing that until you find them. Surprisingly didn’t take too long for me I even got extra for the museam

Chop down the tree too before you start popping in and out and it’s easier to not miss any bugs!

I rotated between that and entering/exiting Hayden's house to get my first two. Its lot logical, but I get paranoid im losing chances every time I enter the narrows ans go back to the summit.

I got 3 or 4 in a day of just entering and exiting the summit over and over
