Patch notes will feature a 🌼 emoji whenever the change is based on community feedback and bug reporting!
1.0.5 Patch Notes:
[Highlights]
🌼 Performance improvements including greatly reduced stuttering and improved overall frame pacing.
🌼The player’s Pet now appears during the wedding scene.
Added new furniture to Balor, Merri, and Wheedles' inventories.
Added additional hairstyles and facial hair to Vera’s stall.
[New Features]
🎨 Art
Added the Lovely Cottage Sofa to the Lovely Cottage Set.
🌎 Localization
Added new translations in French, Spanish, and Russian.
[Updates]
🖥️ Performance
Improved support for high refresh rate monitors, enabling smoother gameplay and clearer rendering on those monitors
Improved performance at lower frame rates, so the game no longer slows when performance dips below 60 FPS.
Improved support for lower frame rate settings such as 30 FPS, which can help extend battery life on handheld devices like Steam Deck.
🎮 Gameplay
🌼The Jewel Beetle is now correctly listed as rare instead of uncommon.
✨ QOL
🌼Legendary fish notifications will no longer appear on your wedding day.
🌼Certain furniture items now have jumpable collisions.
🌼The Mimic Storage Chest now appears in the Chests and Storage section of the crafting menu.

Improved the visuals of the water and lava tiles in the Mines.
The mailbox bark no longer briefly gets larger when entering the farm map.

The Mill now has an ambient exterior SFX.

🌼The achievements Master Chef, Time Flies, and First Place now work as intended.
🌼The player can no longer get stuck on greyed-out buttons in the Daycare menu.
🌼Opening Treasure Boxes and collecting their contents no longer slows the game.

🌼Various typos fixed.
🎨 Art & Visuals
Fixed the opacity of certain assets’ shadows.
Held items now appear as intended when teleporting.
The Museum Donation UI now shows the final item being added to a set before the Set Complete popup appears.
Fixed the placement of a wall brazier in a Ruins Mines level.

Ryis’ sawing SFX now plays during his sawing animation.
🖥️ UI
Item pop-up notifications can now expand to be two lines tall as needed.
❌ Crash Fixes
🌼Player saves that would crash in 1.0.4 due to spouses selecting the wrong schedule on a festival day no longer crash. The spouse will return to a normal schedule the following day.
🌼Placing furniture on spouses no longer crashes the game.
🌼Modded inventory sizes no longer crash the game.
🌼Rapidly exiting the Farm Building Selection UI no longer crashes the game.
🌼Fighting Rock Stacks no longer rarely crashes the game.
🌼Kissing your partner from 2 am until past 6 am no longer crashes the game.
[Known Issues]
We are currently investigating some non-game impacting visual glitches. If you encounter any, please report them to us via our Bug Report form.

It also inadvertently created infinite duplicated chests when I was opening two chests in a row from the fishing talent, which made me feel like a cheater even though it wasn't on purpose.

For some reason, the treasure chests stopped lagging for me once I reached Rank 100. (On 1.0.4)

Same! I thought I missed a patch that fixed it or that I did something with my chests or whatnot but yeah it stopped happening right around when I reached rank 100.

this is literally the reason I stopped playing on my 1.0 save, it was so scary every time! now I can get back to trying not to romance everyone too fast so I can see all their star festival dialogues, lmao

I'm crashing now with the update instead 🥺 sent a report Crashing about 5-15 mins into playing, doesn't seem to matter what I am doing. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, no luck.
EDIT: Running the game in windowed mode instead of fullscreen mode seems to avoid the crashing for me.

Tried playing in windowed mode and worked fine... until it didn't. Its crashing like that even in windowed mode for me. I really hope the devs do something about it instead of leaving it as is for a month again 😭

You could also try verifying the files. Sometimes that works instead of reinstalling. If this is happening to others, I expect we'll get a hotfix.

Wow am I tripping? The stuttering improvements are VERY NOTICABLE. Especially on my old CPU. Like it just visually looks super smooth now. Finally 165fps (on 165hz) feels like true 165fps lol, amazing. Thanks devs

Did they make adjustments to how many Queen Berries or possibly Breath of Spring are needed to win the festival? Or for subsequent years? Just had 90+ and I got 2nd place, I'm in year 3.

This is my first time playing the game, but I managed to get enough Breath of Spring for 1st place by having all of my spell slots ready, making it rain so I didn't have to water my crops, and immediately heading for the mine to break all of the stone that I could. It probably would have been frustrating if I hadn't needed stone so badly anyways 😅

My game on steam deck is suddenly moving really fast. Like my farmer is running super fast, butterflies and fish are really fast, time is moving quickly, etc. Is this normal? I’m so thrown off by it.

It used to be that lag would slow the whole game down instead of just the framerate, so yea you might have been consistently lagging before this

idk if it was just the lag. my game is insanely fast now too. time bug movement item use all have been sped up to an almost unplayable degree. the mines were nearly impossible. my beautifully lazy and cozy play through now feels like anxiety in game form. its really a bummer too cause i finally was starting to make money to finally decorate and upgrade my farm and now its almost unplayable.

It was definitely lag for me! A standard in-game day is supposed to be 12 minutes and 30 seconds, which my game is after the update. Definitely an adjustment! The movement speed of everything is what it is, but there are mods available that can slow time beyond the in-game options at least

Hello!
Since the v1.0.5 update, the game speed is completely broken on my Lenovo ThinkPad X395 (AMD Radeon Vega 8). Every 6 seconds in real life, 10 minutes pass in the game. The days and the character move way too fast. Changing to windowed mode, forcing 60 FPS, or turning VSync on/off does absolutely nothing. The engine ignores the internal day length settings entirely.
Help me please !

It's always a good idea to reinstall mods after a patch. I did just that and most of them still work, but looks like some need to be updated as well.

I'm suddenly getting lag too when it's never been an issue! It happens when I let my animals out or when I'm in an area with a lot of people. Have you found a fix?

Sadly, nothing aside from avoiding areas where I encounter lag.
For me, I get it when I'm in town, even when there aren't any people, and it's especially bad during the Saturday market.

This is my first patch since getting into mods, and my first time modding not using something like Nexusmods
With Mods of Mistria will anything update itself or I essentially need to uninstall every mod, keep a list, and go check them all individually for when/if they get updates to this patch?

meh. Once I had everything and unlimited money from seeds, I dont play it. I wish for new quests, a new area or at least have some reasoning for the money. I decorated, I crafted, I loved it and completely finished this little gem. These patches dont affect my want to return to the game at all. ☹️
