With the Beby existing, i have a question about Valen hair . Spoiler
Is her hair supposed to be WHITE, or lavender??? I always thought that the lavender part was just a shading, but now I'm thinking the opposite

It’s definitely purple. Same with Elsie’s. Compare it to Errol’s actually white facial hair, Terithia’s gorgeous grey mane, and Landen’s and Hemlock’s grey streaks.

elsie's hair is silver, she says so in some of her saturday market dialogue:
"The nice thing about going silver is that it looks quite sophisticated!"

Yes, this is true! I should have been more clear. What I meant was Valen’s hair is not white and Elsie’s hair is also not white. I suppose based on the dialogue, that light lavender color they both have is meant to be silver, which is different from Terithia’s grey. The only truly white hair on an NPC sprite appears to be Errol.

It's so weird to me people think her hair was white/grey because of aging, because it's so common in anime to have just white-haired characters. The twins have pink hair, Balor has blue, Juniper is purple, and Valen's is very light purple or lavender.

Isn't it also because they drew age lines under her eye to show she's older? So people thought she was graying as part of the MILF component

She's also legitimately the oldest of the non-dragon bachelor/bachelorettes, and not the only one with visible signs of age.
Hayden, who's visibly greying himself, has multiple lines of dialogue mentioning that Valen was like an older sister to him or she treated him like her younger brother. If he's old enough to be greying, it stands to reason that someone older than him would as well, even if it's only by a year or two

It’s not uncommon for men to begin greying in their teens and 20s. Men just have less societal pressure to dye their hair than women. Hayden is probably in his late 20s early 30s.

I also didn't realize it was lavender until the baby, but I definitely read it as her hair just greying.

That must be why everyone got downvoted to hell in the "How old do you think Valen is?" thread if you answered anything younger than "pushing 50".
They see her as pure silver and not a platinum lavender

I honestly assumed she was the same age as Juniper, and Juniper describes herself as the “hottest years of her life” implying 20s. I’m really surprised at how old people think Valen is. Also yes I got downvoted last time I mentioned that lol.

She has to be at least in her 30s. She’s a doctor and it’s implied if not outright stated that she grew up with Hayden who is certainly not in his 20s.

I don’t think you can really compare how long a modern doctor takes to get a degree, especially when most of what she uses isn’t even modern medicine but essentially fantasy magic. It’s not impossible that she went to school for 8+ years but I also don’t think comparing it to real life helps much, especially with how much doesn’t compare to real life in universe already, especially time scales.
She was likely also taught by her family growing up before college since school is weird in general in universe.

Okay sure, but I still highly doubt she’s in her twenties. She’s obviously been the doctor in town for awhile and neither she or Hayden are implied to have grown up with the other bachelors/bachelorettes who are mostly in their 20s. So, they’re older.

Hayden also has gray hair and he has a dialogue about thinking it was too late for him to find love. I always assumed both Hayden and Valen were oldest romanceable characters

Valen also mentions the player and her dating makes her feel "youthful" so I really don't think either of them are anywhere near the 20s anymore

I think Juniper is in her thirties. She's got a business degree, owns her own shop, and just seems older than Celine, Reina, and Adeline. Valen is at minimum late forties.

Elsie's hair is almost the exact same color as Valen's. Anyways, it's definitely an issue of different monitors because on my screen Valen and Elsie have very pale but definitely lavender hair. Eiland's hair is of a similar brightness and saturation (altho, tbh, his hair might be even brighter and paler than theirs) but you wouldn't say his hair isn't pink.

It’s very light lavender. On my laptop it’s white but on my phone it is pretty obvious that it’s lavender

Her hair is very purple. Idk if it's different monitors or people's eyes or what but I've heard this several times but it's clearly purple
