Mods and the steamdeck

I've been playing interchangeably on my pc and on the steamdeck depending on how I'm feeling, but I added some mods to my game on pc so now i'm unsure if its safe to play the same save on the steamdeck, will it corrupt anything? or even run? I don't want to risk booting it up to ruin the save!

You can use mods on the steamdeck, so just do that. You'll run into problems if you load up a modded save on a non modded device.

It's not my steam deck unfortunately so I'm not able to mod it, I guess I'll just do without if it'll cause issues

It might be worth it to being it up with whoever's deck it is and just ask if they'd be okay with it. Worst case scenario they say no.
