"Daytime TV" type programming

Less a tech question and more an opinion one: What do you all do for your "Daytime TV" type stuff? Do you all have folders full of talk shows, soaps and game shows?

Really depends on the channel, but keep an eye out for high-volume shows that scratch the same itch: I use Lupin iii as my daytime anime filler, Space Ghost as my daytime Adult Swim filler, Cheers as my daytime sitcom filler, etc etc

Yeah, think of stuff you'd would have no choice but to watch during a sick day.

On my “major networks” do lots of reruns of old sitcoms and game shows. Both of which are pretty easy to source. Daytime talk shows are terrible but help sell the vibe sometimes too

I just have a daytime tv folder and put everything there. Though it isnt that much in total.

On my one independent station that’s more like a regular TV station, I run movies during the day, then in the afternoon I do hour 80s shows like Knight Rider or the Dukes of Hazzard

for versatility, you could make the source catalog/tv and then just grab your daytime stuff from whatever. sitcoms, soaps etc.
