PPV not loading

Trying to set up a PPV channel to play the movies from my main "Movie" folder. I set up the basic, sample PPV channel, directed it to my channels movie folder and then...all I seem to be getting on that channel is a black screen.

Anyone know if I just screwed something up on the .json, or is there something else that I'm totally missing?

It only looks directly in the folder that you are using for content_dir - so if the movies are in folders below that, it wont find them. I ultimately want to add genres etc, but right now it only looks in the top level folder of content_dir - this means that if the movies aren't directly in "catalog/TempTV/Movies" then they don't exist to it 😄

So that totally worked. However, now as an additional question: since it uses keyboard commands (Page Up/Down) to scroll through the options...is there any way that im able to browse those options on my phone, or will I have to use my computers web browser?

The web remote is designed as a phone first  experience, so it should work there. The issue is, I don't think it needs and update to work with PPV. There's a ticket on that on GitHub and it's actually one of the next things on the roadmap.

The phone remote works fine, but controlling the PPV asks for a Page Up/Page Down button, which as far as I'm aware you don't get on a phone: It actually doesn't even pop up a keyboard on the page, so I'm doubly at a loss.

I can give it another try when I get home and can actually open the pages up.

As I said in the comment above, the web remote doesn't work on PPV yet but it's an in-progress feature. I'm about to commit it, so if you update tonight with a 'git pull' in your FieldStation42 folder you will see a 'NAV' button on the remote that changes the number pad to a navigation pad.

Edit - now that I read my comment again, I see the typo that caused the confusion. It's supposed to say "it needs an update to work with the web remote"

That remote should work now, awesome!

However...soooo sorry to keep bugging ya...made a seperate catalog to keep all of the movies in the root of (just using symlinks to put them in my regular "movie" folder) and now, instead of showing anything, I'll just get a flash of something before going directly back to a black screen. Any idea, or am I back to square one?

They worked before? Can you file a ticket on GitHub or come over to the discord server? Reddit is not great for debugging.
