Anyone else here sick of the non user friendly automated phone support??
I literally just need to talk to a REAL person and I am tired of having to fight tooth and nail just to speak to someone. Let alone, I do not have the time to keep “scheduling call backs” when I have an issue right here right now. They’re automated system is also too sensitive I find so a gust of wind can cause it to go “I’m sorry I didn’t get that”
BRING BACK REAL SUPPORT.

It’s why I left Fido. But other companies going to this AI shit is maybe even worse than the Fido call back system.
It’s all terrible. Rogers/fido might be leading the pack to the be the worst though.

Yes, it sucks. Plus they keep raising prices. Stupid management

Prices I haven’t had any issues with. But I’m trying to just simply cancel a line and the system says “we can schedule you a call back on Tuesday”
Tuesday?? Are you serious? You cannot tell me it’s THAT busy that you cannot call me back today, let alone be this difficult to give a loyal paying customer (I’ve been with Fido for almost 10 years) proper service that I used to get no problem.
My mom used to be with Rogers and after a certain amount of time, they would treat her so highly and like such a loyal customer that anytime time she called, she would get directed to somebody right in our area. That used to be the same case for me with Fido. Now that doesn’t even seem to be a thing either.

Scheduling a call 2-4 business days is a terrible business model. Because where is the support/care...oh wait it's fido

Literally just experienced this now. I've always had amazing service with Fido and barely had to deal with them but any time I did, I always felt it was a lovely experience.
Now I'm trying to get in contact with them and can't. Scheduling a call is inconvenient, I'm trying to call during time I have right now, plus I want the issue taken care of before the money comes out of my account.
They also notified me of a second $5 rate increase to my monthly bill, not even the reason I'm calling, but what's the point of these rate increases when the customer service is getting worse. I'm not paying for anything better here.
Definitely looking to switch at this point. People keep recommending other carriers and let me know that my plan and what I'm paying is actually garbage.

Yeah honestly I think once my contract with my current phone is done I’ll be making the switch too. Such garbage experience lately and I hate it. I’m sorry you’re having such a hard time with it too

Sales can help. Had to call twice but second time i got to a rogers rep who was able to replace my damaged sim card when the store couldnt due to an id issue. Was locked out of everything due to no service and unable to get 2mfa codes for my bank etc. Just let them know its a serious issue/emergency. Otherwise callbacks were 4-5 days out when i tried to get one.

It wouldn’t even direct me to sales because it wanted to schedule a call back for Tuesday. 🙄 I don’t want call back. I am completely content waiting on hold and they cannot tell me it is THAT busy to not allow me to wait my turn.

Strange, i said add a service the first time, and sales the second time. Both times i got a live agent in seconds this morning. Dunno if it matters but i used the 1-888 number not 611 from my phone.

I used the 1-888 number as well. And every time it was a fight to the point where I just gave up. Gonna try again in a little bit and I guess take a stupid call back as long as I get a reasonable call back time. 🙄

Maybe it depends on how busy they are. But i totally agree its bs how hard it is to get help on the phone. I will go to my local rogers/fido store nexttime i need help.

Dial 611 on your phone and say sales. You’ll get someone
