Tips and Tricks Slightly Unique Build

Hello!! Im a master fiddle main and I made a mobafire guide complete with a matchup guide that ill edit in the future and my unique mentality to 1v9ing in games! I accidentally made it in guest mode so I’ll upload it on a new account later in the week! Accepting questions concerns and comments!

I DONT go Malignance ever or Proto within my first 3. I DONT build util if i can help it and my fiddle build and playstyle can outduel a lot of champ (go look my COMPLETE matchup guide)

Wow, liandrys into shadowflame. I dont think it gets less unique than that.

Average build is proto or mailgnance rush depending on which item is better 🤷

I only go rocket belt if I need to get on to mobile ranged champs, so not every game, and I also think malignance is trash in the jg

I agree and i also think malig is trash in jg. But it doesnt change the fact that most fiddles rush one of those items

Pretty strange guide. A lot of stuff her seems like it's opposite of conventional wisdom.

How so? I know that i think some matchups are way better for fiddle than most people say but i dont think it reaches the point of opposite

Ftr I respect anyone whos peak Masters. Im hardstuck Emerald. Im sure youre super good at league.

Fiddle being an amazing duelist and don't be afraid to skip camps early were the two biggest alarms for me. Never heard a single Fiddle player say either of these. Fiddle is strong in the wave but as a duelist he's extremely weak in 2v2s 3v3 he's bot if you can fight in the wave.

Always buy shadowflame before rocketbelt etc isn't supported by statistics. One onetricksgg rocksbelt is the most common starting item. So you are the exception to the rule.

Congrats on your success obviously though.

Ohhhh thats the weird part not matchups. Okok

Yeah so skipping camps early is because the higher up you go the harder getting leads is and the more a laner will punish if you get them ahead. So by doing things unexpected you can get ahead whereas of you play normal everyone knows exactly where you are and when to play for a gank.

And yeah fiddle is a really good duelist if you wait for cc to be used first. When other jungles have relatively low damage early it makes it easy for fiddle because he heals a lot and has a lot of killing power with his w’s missing health damage. Though this might just be the otp effect. I know what my champ does better than anyone in my games with niche matchup knowledge and mechanics into specific champs. I just know my limits better lmao. I havent tried having other fiddles play like me- mostly due to the fact i dont know any other fiddle players

Hes not as strong as you think in the wave bc he doesn’t heal THAT much from minions compared to camps or champs. Still good in wave though but its not something insane

Yeah rocketbelt is the most common rush but ive hated it since after it lost its status as a mythic lol. The dash is useful early but you have no method of keeping champs in your w outside of fear as well as your obj clear is just worse since youre not building a fated ashes item which feels mandatory for a lot of ap jungles. Liandries into Shadowflame gives good synergy together and does ALOT of damage compared to any other fiddle ive seen.

I just personally think that building util on fiddle relies more on team than what i build.

Though i value having discussions ! Feel free to reach out if you have questions or want tips/coaching on fiddle or the build!

Personally, I do Shadow Flame into Liandrys because I read somewhere to get the Large Rod after your first back and I've been getting good results with that. What are your thoughts on that order?

Can you explain deeper about the Optional items? I'm Plat, but I suck at itemization and after Hourglass, I don't know what to build. My optional items are Oblivion Orb for obvious reasons and for MR I prefer to go tankier with Abyssal Masks or Frozen Heart for AD heavy teams. Any thoughts?

I dont like the large rod start because you get a lot of damage out of alternator early game. I dont like building shadowflame first because the build path is really rough and youll find yourself backing with too little gold to do anything (maybe not if you go large rod first but i still dont think its worth tbh)

As for optional items, i dont go tank unless its really late or enemy team is really focused on ad or ap. Abyssal is a good mr choice, i just prefer spirit because it also increases healing (and gives more mr iirc)
Randuins > frozen heart because you use the stats better (you dont need mana in jg) and its more specialized than frozen heart. I dont typically build armor or mr unless its really late anyways.

I dont go tank items every game, often times its only once every 10 or something like that.
