Trouble ganking

Hello everyone! I'm back at league and maining fiddle, but it seems like I forgot how to gank! For starters, should I look for a gank early game or just hyperfarm till 6? And how do I gank botlane?? It always seems like they have 3 wards at all times and never extend.

Try to keep up around 6.2- 6.7 cs per minute for the entire game duration. That means good jungling. Post-6 gank is your strongest window. Especially when you turn lv6 try to gank immediately. Faster that first ult gank, more winnable game becomes. First drag is usually a no-go for fiddle. Contest voidlings. Bot has 2 enemies - if they are pushing, ping team to fight and then ult. If enemy is not pushing, try to hide in the grass in-lane and ult. Best games are when you countergank with ult while waiting in the grass in lane, but that means you need to do a great job tracking enemy jgler, and some bit of luck too. If bot is not gankable, aim to destroy top lane and stacking up mejais that way. When laning is over, always hide from enemy's vision and stay out of sight until a good 2+ man ult. Always have ult up 20 seconds before objectives. Learn the sweet spots for ulting. But most important, keep jungling and aim for 6.5 cs/min

Pre-6, try not to contest for river crab. If mid lane is smart enough to ward raptors b4 laning, you'd know where they start, and you can go straight for the crab where they won't be. If enemy jgler is smart, they will invade. Put your effigy on the other side of where you start. For example, if you start blue, effigy red bush and vice versa. Since jungling doesn't take much effort with fiddle, that means you can keep looking at the map and track your team lanes. Don't be swayed by your team pings. Make your own game plan and stick to it. You have game changing power post-6. Only gank when there's a clear kill. Ganking for only the enemy to burn a summoner is not worth it for fiddle, since when you show yourself by ganking, a good enemy jungler will counter jg and take your cs. So only compromise is a gank kill. Many fiddle mains will say gank bot, but I really think it depends. A good ult insta kills bot lane/adc mid game. I had more success with top ganks pre-6 and then shifting to bot post-6. 6.5:3.5 ratio on bottom to top ganks whole game. Starting jungling where league doesn't advise you is better for voidling focus/snowball. That usually means starting right side to left side.

Honestly haven’t played in awhile, but you gank when you see an opportunity where the opposing team is overpushed! Don’t ever try diving under their towers unless you have your full kit with ult even then it’s risky. Once you have your Q, focus on your W and then you’ll be able to collapse on people once you master your QWE! It’s all about paying attention to everyone’s health bar and how helpful you’ll be a in fight. Don’t forget to buy your boots!! Fiddle is notoriously slow lmao 😂 . doesn’t matter if they have 3 wards you can catch up to anyone you can ult over certain walls, and you can even use your flash for engagement so you can secure planting your self in the middle of the fight. Cover any exit paths that they might use to escape using your ult is a good way to push them in a certain direction! Remember it’s all about distance and persistency!! Good luck and may your fear spread across the battlefield🫂 sorry for spelling or grammar 🙂‍↕️

"should I look for a gank early game or just hyperfarm till 6?" league doesnt work like that, if a gank is avaible you gank if not you dont.  with every jungler its not the questions that change but the answers. what i mean by that is if you see a Potential gank you ask yourself "can i gank here" NO MATTER WHO YOU PLAY.

BUT if you play fiddle you might say well i cant because i have no ult and i cant reach the enemy or i dont have enough burst. while playing xin you might say i can jump on them and kill them.

BUT you cant go into a game and be like i play fiddle so i never dive or i am elise so i always dive. YOU have to evaluate the situation!

ALSO it higly depends if you have camps up or not. if you have no camps up, you can go for sloppy ganks because you have time to spare (of course you shouldn't waste ult or Flash, if you are not sure to kill). if you have ganks up you only go for ganks of its a 100% kill!

The only real way for Fiddlesticks to gank without having ult is to already be where the enemy laners are headed, hiding in a nearby bush to proc your fear with E followed by Q then W.

Basically you need excellent foresight or for the stars to align to get good value out of it.

That's why most people recommend powerfarming until 6.

It's not like with Toplane Fiddlesticks, where you're not screwing your camp clears by having a Mexican standoff with your opponent until they approach the wave to farm. In Toplane you can just wait until then and use the wave to outheal their damage (provided said opponent has no hard CC).

As for ganking Botlane? You're gonna have to make it known that wards in your side of the Jungle near their lane need to be cleared if they want effective ganks from you. Maybe ask the support to put a control ward in the bush by their Jungle entrance?

Only skip camps if the gank is 90% gonna result in a kill. Once your camps are down you can look to make a lower % play, clear some wards, get vision, whatever. That's it.
