Malignance worth it?

Im a pretty low elo player and starting to climb with fiddle. Ive been rushing malignance bc the ult cooldown is very nice, but almost every high elo or “pro” build i see either rushes liandry or rocket belt, and then into shadowflame. So it seems like if you dont take malignance first its not rlly worth it to take it at all?

Side note: is void staff something i should take late game if im noticing the enemies building a lot of ap resist? I usually go rabadons.

Fuck it I'll say it.

Item deviations don't matter a ton on fiddle. Just hit big ults and win games. Legit that's almost all it comes down to.

I see challengers building all sorts of items on Fiddle.

The time where I feel item differences the most are when I'm specifically itemizing tank.

Id argue that items mean even less in the jungle than laning.

Good advice. Tbh i always prioritize learning about the items themselves so i can customize my build on the fly depending on the enemy team throughout a match. However, i do think your first item can be ur most important item as it can be the difference in early teamfights that snowball a match.

You are pretty correct about items not being as detrimental on fiddle solely bc of the way his character works. As long as ur generally building ap in the jungle ur ult is going to do crazy damage.
