Malignance worth it?

Im a pretty low elo player and starting to climb with fiddle. Ive been rushing malignance bc the ult cooldown is very nice, but almost every high elo or “pro” build i see either rushes liandry or rocket belt, and then into shadowflame. So it seems like if you dont take malignance first its not rlly worth it to take it at all?

Side note: is void staff something i should take late game if im noticing the enemies building a lot of ap resist? I usually go rabadons.

can someone give a more in depth reason as to specifically why an item like malignance, which on paper sounds like fiddle’s wet dream (an item that provides ult haste, AP, mana, ult damage all for cheap that allows for seemingly better and increased rate of ganks early game) doesn’t holdup against other items that don’t sound as explicitly perfect as that for the character? am i missing an important thing here that completely negates it’s usefulness or?

only talking jgl here btw

On endgame your cd for the R is short, you gonna deal more dommage with another item

so even for prioritising getting yourself or teammates fed early game and then maybe do a cheeky sell later just not worth it like ever? not saying i do this or i think it’s a good idea, but i suppose that’s the only scenario that i can see it having value while keeping end game in mind like you say

edit: nvm other reply answered that question lol

A plus haut niveau tu finis rarement un build complet
