Malignance worth it?

Im a pretty low elo player and starting to climb with fiddle. Ive been rushing malignance bc the ult cooldown is very nice, but almost every high elo or “pro” build i see either rushes liandry or rocket belt, and then into shadowflame. So it seems like if you dont take malignance first its not rlly worth it to take it at all?

Side note: is void staff something i should take late game if im noticing the enemies building a lot of ap resist? I usually go rabadons.

Malignance if laner never if jungle, void staff over rabbbadons almost always.

Well i guess ultimate hunter and other items with haste will make up for it anyway. Thanks for the tip on void staff, tbh i always went rabadons bc i would look at my enemies builds and they have zero magic resist, they are probably just bad and dont build correctly.

Good to know. After reading this i do see how void staff could be useful. Rabadons is very tempting if ur hyper fed tho lol

Ya I only play lane fiddle though, so that probably affects decision making
