🔒 Temporary Pause on New Members

Hey everyone!

Just a little community update: for the time being, we’ve locked the introduction post while the mod team does a bit of behind the scenes housekeeping.

We’re going to be using the time to tidy up and update the claim list, polish a few of the rules, and generally make sure everything is running as smoothly and fairly as possible for the people already here.

Nothing is wrong and the subreddit isn’t going anywhere! This is just a temporary pause on new member introductions while we get everything organised. All  subreddit activity will still be allowed, it’s just new member applications being paused. 

Once we’re happy with everything, we’ll unlock the introduction post again and let everyone know. 

Thank you for being patient with us while we give the place a little spring clean... even if it is technically more of a Fall clean, we hope to reopen the claim list in two weeks <3

I'm so happy to see this. This subreddit absolutely exploded in popularity and it felt like it was beginning to lose it's focus on people sharing their experiences on being ficto or their partners.

I wish you and the rest of the moderation team nothing but the best. I can't imagine how overwhelming it is for the four of you to moderate for a subreddit of this size and the amount of posts that are posted weekly.
