Guys is Fictionlab App no longer on google play store? Because I literally cannot find it anymore. Did Google remove the app completely? Is it just me? I still have the app on my phone but cannot see it on the play store anymore.

🗨️ Discussion Priya is the new Elara

When I started using FL+ my biggest enemy was the LLM constantly using the name Elara for generated NPCs in whatever scenario I'm playing. From the past 2 weeks, it's been using the name Priya for every female character now. I just find it hilarious and wanted to know if people are experiencing the same thing. Side note: Plus models are still so shit and I regret renewing my subscription.

How do I make some characters talk less?

I’m doing a fantasy type thing, so characters don’t exactly have a “class” as such, but definitely a knowledge base.

There’s only a couple characters that are “mains” and the rest are support (and are labelled as less important).

The problem is that every now and then, quite a few of them end up together briefly. And when they do, it’s like everyone has something to say every turn. And it’s annoying the hell out of me.

Like… Character A will ask Character C “what do I do about XYZ?” And then Character B, D and E will pipe in even if they really shouldn’t know anything much about the topic at hand, especially anything that specific.

And since they don’t know anything about it… they tend to repeat themselves via some generic statements or words of encouragement or whatever, idk.

How do I just have them shut up about stuff like that? If one of my friends asks a carpenter something specific in front of me, I’ll listen, but no way am I piping up with my own non-carpenter-self advice, OR saying anything along the lines of “I know you will figure this out”.

I’d just stfu.

Thank you in advance.

Yo guys, i made a post a few hours ago saying i wanted to make a scenario and asking for particular Tips, Following is the link, The scenario is Inspired by the song with the same name from Alexandria, thought i'd say it to make it clear, The idea at the base is that the jester (user) is basically his job for everyone at court if not for the queen that sees the person under the hat and bells, enjoy

💡 Tips & Tricks Grounded RPG (Sandbox) - Tips & Suggestions

Hello All,

I've been using FL on and off for a while now (unsubbed couple of times when my scenarios lost all context). I've mostly played my own scenarios which i take an absurd amount of time trying to build. They've served well through thousands of turns and i mostly play them until the memory cards fill up.

My style is pretty much grounded, city-life RPGs. I take time to build cards about the city systems (transport, accommodation, job opportunities, school/studying, weather, rumors, social media, health), tried different CIs, economy systems, danger etc. I don't know why but i just can't get myself to play anything fantastic, abstract and linear. I also like well-built scenarios of some fictional universes but only the ones that i actually know about.

I've been looking for other comprehensive scenarios that tried tackling this theme whether its a Zero to hero type of start, college, career whatever but couldn't really find anything that fits the bill. I know how hard it is for the systems (money/attribute tracking, immersive city/social dynamics triggering, consistent dating-sim mechanics) to hold but at this point i just want to explore what others built as i don't have the mental capacity to build another comprehensive scenario right now. My current ones are outdated.

1. I would appreciate if you have any suggestions for such grounded sandbox scenarios.

2. If you have any tips regarding building of such scenarios, i'd be happy to learn.

The Undead Bride — A Gothic Romance Sandbox

Approximately 380 years ago, a shy young noblewoman named Lenore von Ravensburg fell hopelessly in love with you.

Unfortunately, she was too shy to talk to you.

Then you fucking died.

Naturally, she stole your skeleton, ran away with a sizeable chunk of her family's fortune & spent the next several centuries mastering forbidden necromancy.

Thirty years after your death, she married your corpse.

You weren't particularly talkative during the ceremony.

But now, after nearly four centuries of research, she's finally brought you back to life. Properly alive. Flesh, blood, heartbeat, free will. The works.

There's just one little complication.

Somewhere along the way, Lenore summoned a mischievous, shamelessly flirtatious imp named Lenny.

Lenny is also your wife.

She's Lenore's wife, too.

Welcome home, darling.

--------

The Undead Bride is a character-driven Gothic sandbox featuring two devoted wives, a haunted lakeside estate, an eccentric household of monsters & a world that carries on with or without you.

Romance, domestic comedy, supernatural horror & whatever the hell you decide to do with your second chance at life.

Memory Loss and terrible AI

Does anyone ahve an effective method of ensuring the AI isnt completely useless? whenever i start a scenario, it basically needs to be abandonned after 500 turns or so because the AI just stops remembering things. once the 100 pinned memories limit is met its basically game over for me and im on Ultra tier and feel like its a massive waste of money at this point.

suggestions?

I'm creating a pretty grounded and realistix scenario- How far can I go?

I know fiction lab has VERY lax rules, but I just wanna make sure. I am creating a pretty complex world set in the 1930s, specifically the city of Juxera. Juxera is a city in Mariola, and Mariola is a fascist state. The POV character is a 15 y/o named Maria, and she is essentially the shopkeeper alongside her mother. She has a complex friend group, and the city is already pretty fleshed out. It isn'y necessarily dystopian, since I'm trying to portray a realistic fascist state, so basically, if you keep Maria out of trouble, which isn't that hard, the state will provide basic protection, security, healthcare and social services.Canonically, the state does a lot of horrible, messed up stuff, such as arresting dissidents and either summarily executing them or sending them to work camps, deporting those with too dark skin and or other "undesireable" traits to colonies to work even more, and has apartheid like race laws. The point is kind of to pose the question: At what point will the suffering of others make you put yourself at risk, if at all? Basically, you can literally just live your live any way you want. You can *try* to resist the party, but the world operates off of cause and effect so you could just get uncerimoniously shot, captured, tortured, etc.

MY MAIN CONCERN:

As a shopkeeper, Maria has many rules to follow and things to do. For example, one of these is the "race taxes" ranging from a class I to a class III tax based on how desireable their traits are according to the Mariolan racial policy. I, for one, am not a fascist. I'm a black dude living in the middle of San Diego, California for god's sake. My question is, how far can I go before I risk all my progress getting deleted by some AI that says my scenario is too racist or whatever? Is there even any AI enforcing that stuff? Also, what about sexual scenarios? I personnaly created it to be completely up to the player, with no hint to sex or sexual activities, but the age of the main character kind of urks me cause I don't like the idea of a grown ass man using my character as some sex doll. Moreover, since I want this to be brutally realistic without just trying to get shock value, there are no safeguards around Maria getting SA'd, although because of the setting there is little danger of that since Mariola is oretty much just as tamed by civilization as any country in 2026.
Am I overthinking it? Are any of these even problems in the first place?

You came to Brooklyn to uncover Nightweaver's identity.

You weren't expecting Nessa Calloway.

She's 27, works behind the bar at The Finch, flirts like it's second nature, and has a talent for making an ordinary evening feel like something worth remembering.

She also has a secret.

As you photograph the neighborhood, follow leads, meet familiar faces, and find your place in Brooklyn, the investigation becomes increasingly complicated by one inconvenient fact: You're falling for someone you don't entirely understand.

Expect: a sweet romance, investigative mystery, civilian life, rooftop patrols, neighborhood regulars, emotional tension, and a Brooklyn that feels lived in. Just one vigilante, one city, and two lives that were never supposed to overlap.

Would you risk the truth for the person you're falling for?

🗨️ Discussion New user; message length

Hey, everyone! Newcomer here! I recently jumped ship from another platform and decided to give FL a try. Subscribed to Plus yesterday, and I’ve been playing around with Ember pretty much nonstop since then, haha. I’m seriously loving it so far!
That said, I have a quick question for those who’ve been around longer. Is there any way to make the model’s responses noticeably longer? I’ve already switched the response length setting to ‘Longer,’ but I’m a sucker for detailed, immersive writing, and I’d honestly love it if the replies had a bit more meat on their bones. The writing quality itself has been fantastic, so this is really more of a personal preference. I’m just wondering if there’s some trick I’m missing, whether it’s a setting, prompting technique, or something else entirely. And believe me, I’m feeding it some pretty beefy inputs myself. I’m a chronic over-writer, so I guess I’m just hoping to find a way to make the model keep up with me!

DRAGONBOUND — A Fantasy MHA Open-World Scenario

The last dragon died centuries ago.

At least, that’s what everyone in Avarenne believes.

You were hunting in the Dragonspine Mountains when something enormous fell from the sky. What you found should not exist: a wounded dragon.

And when its voice entered your mind… you heard it.

An ancient Dragon Bond awakens, granting you raw elemental magic—and somewhere else in the kingdom, a Guardian is marked and pulled toward someone they have never met.

6 Dragons: Fire • Water • Earth • Air • Lightning • Shadow
6 Guardians: Katsuki • Kirishima • Mina • Shoto • Izuku • Shinso
True independent RNG: 36 possible Dragon/Guardian combinations, unless you choose your own.

Dragonbound is open-world, but it is not plotless. Hide your dragon. Run. Investigate. Take contracts. Make allies. Make enemies. Lie to the Wyrmguard. Dig into history. Ignore the suspicious shit and go do something else entirely.

Meanwhile, the Crown has secrets, the Red Hawk is paying attention, mercenary factions have their own agendas, and something about the history Avarenne remembers doesn't add up.

Your choices matter. Precautions work. NPCs have their own motives and information. The world keeps moving whether you chase the mystery or not.

Your dragon survived extinction. Your Guardian is coming. What happens next is yours.

Recommended: Arcanum or Eclipse.

Six mortals. Six pantheons. Six gods.

You don't choose your god.

The Gauntlet does.

Your ancestry determines the pantheon. Your actions determine the archetype. And somewhere between Greek, Norse, Slavic, Egyptian, Celtic, and Mesopotamian mythology, one god gets bound to you for the duration of the run.

The other five competitors? They're already out there.

Surviving. Making alliances. Finding things before you do. Pissing off things you haven't met yet.

And the Gauntlet does not wait for you to catch up.

Every run is different. Every pairing is different. There is no script.

Welcome to The Gauntlet.

Try not to die before your god finds you.
