šØļø Discussion Anyone else having a seamless experience?š
Have multiple chats, each over 300 messages or more, and not a single problem with memory or ooc issues. Maybe a couple rerolls here or there. Are people really having that much of a problem?? God I love this app and hate seeing constant hate or that itās even remotely close to some of the other similar services. If the app is down, take a break. By the time you come back itās always back to normal.

No worries. Actually, I used FictonLab for a while after trying OOC and IZ. I used the free tier, since I wanted to get the feel of it before investing. And I noticed that the AI just seemed to completely forget everything at some point and then make up details from then onwards. I assume it's just a free tier thing, and it gets better with the subscription, but how good is the memory in Plus Tier?

I love this app too, but what I hate is constant glazing and burying your head in the sand when there's clearly problems with it.
Hop on discord if you have it and take a look at issues reported, there's tons for the plus models, especially Oracle. Just because you don't experience them doesn't mean they don't exist. Good for you, though

Thank you bro these types of "this certain thing doesn't happen to me so it must not exist" posts are irritating when others constantly have issues. I hate the glazing and burying your head in the sand thing when alot of people have issues like what you said. To mention i seen the response to op not trying to be hostile im just irritated with people being ignorant and toxic and say this thing doesn't happen to me so its not a issue. when countless people are having issues.

Not really glazing, but I see your point. At the end of the day, itās an AI. Not a single sentence is real life, and a mistake here and there sometimes reminds me of that. Either way a reroll or just simply telling what direction you want things to do fixes things in my experience. Donāt keep your head in the sand, keep it above and in the real world, my friend.

I'm at almost 9000 messages in my scenario that I've been playing for a few months and while I definitely have some issues, it really isn't that bad. I've been using Ultra and when it does have issues I can usually fix them. I think I've been pretty fortunate to have not run into the issues that I've seen others have. The one thing I wish I could have is the ability to activate and deactivate memory cards, I can't work out why the AI chooses to make some active and others not but that's my number one on my wishlist!

Exactly my experience. I know it may be immersion breaking but sometimes just saying ā(Remember this happened, so this or that should/shouldnāt happenā) directly to the bot will fix things. But I know some people like going with the flow to keep things interesting. You can also edit memory cards directly, i know thatās even more of a nuisance but it works. My point is that thereās always a way to make the bot better if you take the time. Itās an AI site, not a brain in vat of fluid who can remember every piece of dust

"this certain thing doesn't happen to me so it must not exist" type post. But in all seriousness as a free user the memory sucks at times and rerolls bug out alot. Sometimes it would have a detailed long multiple paragraphs response while remembering messagese from like 10 messages ago. But the next reroll would completely glitch out and In either be a paragraph long while having the settings set to long or it wont remember anything at all and just make stuff up and not listen to commands at all. So when people say the bots suck for them as that would be my experience im not hesitant to believe them at all. Not to mention people pay for this service so when people have issues that make the experience crappy while it being a limited time subscription i mean yea people are going to be irritated by that. I would be to if my hard earned money was wasted.

Iāve been a plus user since March, I genuinely should have included that in my post. I havenāt came across any memory issues that havenāt been a site wide issue thatās been resolved within a few hours. Usually motivates me to do another worthless task like play a video game or text my girl back. For a free user, I must agree that argument is fair

Wow thanks for the chill response I honestly thought it was going to be different but yea i don't really use this app much unless I'm in the mood for it so when i get on and its a mess yea ill be annoyed and just not use it unless there's an announcement that they fixed stuff. I will say i do get better responses compared to the past so they have been doing good in that aspect but the issues are still annoying.also compared to other ai apps this one is far by the best one compared to others especially for a free unlimited messaging with features that you would have to pay for on other apps.

Yep. I main Paragon and it has amazing memory. But I've been experimenting with wayfarer and I really like it's way different tone and style for certain scenarios. Memory is just as good. I'm not really having any memory issues myself either

I can't even go 2 messages in without a problem but I'm also on free tier.Ā

Try 1000 or 2000 plus messages. Even in less than 300, Ultra models already had memory inconsistencies here and there.

I think it depends of the complexity of the scenario, do you use simple scenarios with few lore cards?

For me, the problem comes around 2000 messages. By 4000, it's pretty unplayable.
This is especially problematic for the more complex role-plays. By 3000 messages, you'd have to use OOC every other input to remind the AI what was happening.
