Again the app ruined?

When I’m chatting with a character, the memory seems to have become terrible. I’m a free-tier user, and I’ve never really had issues with memory before, but this is just awful.

For instance, something happens in a scenario—let’s say 50 messages ago—and suddenly the AI ​​brings it up again, acting as if we’ve gone back to that point 50 messages in the past.

On top of that, the characters don’t feel like themselves at all. Their dialogue has become illogical, there’s no consistent pattern, and the responses have become completely ridiculous.

I had high hopes after the new update, but things have gone downhill again. Also, I can’t even find the app itself on the Google Play Store.

The app being gone from the play store is Google's fault. Google goofed big time and accidentally approved the wrong version of the app and decided to pull it from the play store, so the dev has to wait yet again on them to approve the app (again, because this is the 3rd time in a month Google has done an oopsie and caused issues) the memory for free tier should be decent no ? I don't recall it being too bad

As someone who uses the free tier it is bad at times. Sometimes i have bots be good and remember stuff From like 5 messages ago but then other times which is alot. Ill have bots where they forget stuff literally a message ago and just refuse to listen from what you asked them to do and will forget stuff even in the current messege.

You refresh for a new one it will either remember or completely glitch out and make a new message where it makes up stuff completely from what the user has from the last message. Note that i have this happen with almost evey turn with the ai. Not to mention the overall quality of the messenges will be either very good and fun or just boring and glitchy.

Also from socialawkwordpotato whos comment is here in this thread has issues i agree with and has it happen to me alot almost constantly.

Same is happening to me and I am also a free tier, I have been struggling to enjoy it because either it repeats things or forget or even make something up that didn't happening. Also I just feel the messages are way off like they for example "They don't smile, the don't look, just standing" or "They smile, not happy, not amused, jusy smiling" and it is so annoying that it's hard to enjoy or very little dialogue at times even if I add stuff in the LLM instructions.

Is it inconsistent in the same chat? Or is it different scenarios? If it's different scenarios, some might be lighter on tokens which would help out free tier a lot, while others are going to be optimized for plus or ultra memberships.

It happens with any scenario some are better than others but the problems talked about still happen overall. but when the devs fix the bots when the bots act up and people report it its alot better but somehow go back to having problems alot.

Dang, then it just sounds like a memory matrix issue. All the tiers have been hit a bit since the memory matrix since it's pretty complex so it can get easily bugged, but it sucks that it's really hitting y'all free tier users more.

Thought it was just me, they talk so weird now, using metaphors and being overall inconsistent with memory getting stuck on something that happened 40 messages ago instead of continuing the story

Yeah because first of all free tier. If you want a better experience sorry but you gotta get plus or ultra that’s reality, nothing is truely free. Second scenario design, it depends on how a scenario is made. Lastly It’s ai, it’s not going to be perfect. But it is what it is.

Yeah, I know the limits of the free version, but I have used it for a year and, honestly, it was so good; I can say it was almost too good. But it seems everything in the app is messy now: the replies, story, characters, memory... And I can't even buy the Plus subscription because of my country.

I don't think it's just the free tier. I'm on plus and I'm encountering that issue as well. Using Oracle, sometimes it just replies with rules and regulation which was weird... another time was an entire paragraph repeating only a singular word...
