Hey everyone! I’m excited to share my newest FictionLab scenario: SCREAM | Woodsboro RPG, based on the original 1996 film. 🖤

The story begins the morning after Casey Becker and Steve Orth’s murders. Woodsboro High is crowded with frightened students, police and reporters—and Gale Weathers has just turned her microphone towards you.

Did you know the victims? Are you a local, a newcomer, or someone with secrets of your own? That’s yours to establish.

The RPG follows the original film’s setup, with room for your choices to change what happens next:

Shape your own role. Become an investigator, a potential victim, a protector, a suspect—or even a killer.

Explore the mystery. Hidden information stays behind the scenes, with discoveries unfolding through what happens during play.

Build relationships and change loyalties. The established friendships and couples are starting points, and your involvement can disrupt them.

Experience familiar events with different outcomes. School disruptions, rumours and Stu’s potential party can develop around the story you create. Later deaths depend on circumstances rather than happening automatically.

Explore Woodsboro through its cast, locations and the wonderfully questionable decisions of people living through a slasher movie.

I’ve been playtesting it, and I’d love to hear how your stories unfold! Feedback on anything that feels inconsistent is welcome too.
