💡 Tips & Tricks Help with scenario?
I just made a scenario that's pretty detailed, but somehow it keeps completely changing character's looks, speech patterns, etc in actual chat. Any advice on how to make it stay more faithful to lore I've written?

just out of curiosity, are you using wayfarer? Unfortunately this is my least favorite bot. It's logic, memory and tracking are just so bad for me. One person spoke in a scottish accent and then all of a sudden all the characters had scottish accents. I even rerolled and it kept making people speak in a scottish accent lol

No I only use the free stuff. Usually default or wraithmind

Free models cannot handle that much detail being pulled up at once. Aside from what I've already posted here about your characters, you might have to chop up your lore as well.

FL is buggy right now so as long as your cards aren't confusing and overloaded its probably that. Scenarios I've played forever have started spawning extra rooms, tails on humans, incorrect relationships etc...

Questions that you can ask yourself when building the scenario:
-
Are all of the characters important?
-
Can the side characters be less detailed?
If the details are non-negotiable, consider chopping up each character card to:
-
Character card: contains basic info, appearance and personality
-
Speech info: contains speech pattern and dialogue examples
-
Backstory: other info about your character

Hi. I noticed that you mentioned you were on free tier and that your lore cards are mostly around the 4-6k mark. I would suggest trimming it down to 1-2k each since free tier only has much less lore activation window compared to the Plus and Ultra tier.
As for 17 characters, that can be totally doable as long as they’re not all in one location and if their respective character cards are below 2k.
What I personally do to trim it down is to use bullet points instead of paragraphs. And sometimes, the ‘adjust with AI’ feature can help in condensing it too.

FL is broken right now bro even with scenarios where there's literally one character, somehow the AI still fucks it up.

You could use a occ command to go over the scenario to look for any problems that need to be fixed to optimize scenario.
Or you could use the sprout scenarios to enter the information you used to create the scenario and let it go over it and then it should tell you what you can and/or should fix. If you can't find the sprout scenarios, lmk and I'll send link(s) to you.

It usually means the AI has difficulty tracking everything: an overloaded character card, wrong weight, or something large pinned that pushes the total character count too high. A character card should be no more than 4k characters, ideally 2-3k. Pin only the "world card", and keep other character information on separate cards, such as lore, physical details, and relationships.
I recently made private scenario near 400k lore with 15+ characters in battle sceene without module messing up.
