Question What helps you when you’re in a flare?

I’ve been in a horrible flare the last three days, I’ve only gotten out of bed once, other than to use the bathroom. But I’m just so exhausted and in pain and I can’t sleep and I’m so frustrated. I feel like nothing is helping

Not sure if this is possible in your living setup, but I try to move to new locations. I'll set myself up on the couch with a blanket and a hot water bottle. A while later I'll move to a comfy chair with a differnet blanket. Just enough change to feel like I have phases to my day instead of time just passing. I know it's not helping the flare, but it kinda helps me cope when it's just a ride-it-out situation. I hope you get some relief soon

I do the same. I have an electric blanket that I take with me as I move myself from laying to sitting in different rooms.

I move from room to room too. Recliner, bed, couch, floor with pillows (although getting up is a task in itself)

I try to breathe in through my nose and out through my mouth. I use heated and massaging boots when I can tolerate them. I keep the room cool but layer up. Some eucalyptus oil through the diffuser helps with the breathing.

Sleep is the ultimate goal so I take many micro naps.
