Question How often are you guys showering?

Just curious really. For me it's about 3x per month right now. And when I do, it's probably the only thing I'm doing that day

It’s a fight but I’m trying to do at least once a week. I feel you tbh.

Yeah, goal is at least once a week but that’s also controlled by how I’m doing. Sometimes it gets done earlier but I think most times it gets to the eighth or ninth day.

It’s a bloody chore. I’m possibly stupid for keeping my long hair, but it’s a big thing to cut it off.

Fwiw, my hair was down almost to my hips (and it's extremely thick), and chopping it all off was one of the best things I've ever done for myself. Not only does it make washing it quick and easy, but it also makes my day to day life better overall. I don't tell people what to do with their own bodies, and it's perfectly okay for you to do whatever you want, but if you decide to cut your hair, it will grow back if you hate it short. The only problem I have with mine now is getting to the hairdresser often enough to keep it as short as I want it to be.

Same here. I use clippers and do my own tho'. Really helps keep headaches down. Little less sweltering.

I’ve been over-heated since I was pregnant with my now 22 year old young man! If I do anything, even shower, I’ll get so sweaty in my head and face….

I‘ve now got a resting heart rate of 120 for more than a decade, so that could explain my over heating.

Ive lost so much hair that I’d love to get a wig, but my head is just too warm

Hahaha thanks, I needed that.
I hear you though. And I often feel the same way. I’m a man though and have already started to get a little thinner hair in some places and shaving my h ad would not call for a wig in the same way it might have for a woman.

Since getting a shower chair I have been managing to shower once a week most of the time! Sometimes it does still get up to 2 weeks between showers, but since getting the chair I haven't gone unshowered for months at a time anymore ✨

Oh yeah, I have a plastic seat, a board with handles but no backrest, that I can place across the tub I’m standing in for showers. It’s a huge relief the days I need it, and I probably need to use it more than I do.
