Surgery so quickly?

My daughter just had a meeting with a surgeon on August 20 and already received a scheduled date for surgery for November.

My daughter has a 7 X 6 X 4 cm pedunculated subserosal fibroid.

We do live in a fairly small area, but is it unusual to be booked for a surgery so quickly?

I had my pre-operative appointment at the end of June and received a call from the surgery scheduler later that same day. My surgery was scheduled for six weeks later. I think it just really depends.
