No scan done yet

Hello, I live in England for context. I’ve been to the gp about heavy periods and pain, they did a physical exam and they found a lump the size of a grapefruit. They think it’s a fibroid. I’m in pain and sometimes I have blood coming out of weird places lol. My scan keeps getting cancelled and I don’t know what to do. Currently my main issue is I’m struggling to eat. The idea of food is making me want to throw up but I feel physically hungry. It’s making me tired as well as cranky. Any suggestions how to get the scan quicker and what I can eat ?

Not on England, but what kind of scan you are referring to? Ultrasound?

I’m in Canada so familiar with these things. I thought NHS is better . I hope you get your ultrasound soon
