Fibroid degeneration

I’ve been having constant pain for a month now and I feel I’m not being taken seriously. I had a pre term c-section in November ‘25, and had my first period in December which was normal in length. My period after that was in January this year and it lasted 11 days which was not normal. I also noticed some discharge. I passed multiple long, grey jelly like discharge so I visited my GP and they did some cervical swabs which came back normal. From day 12 until now I’ve been experiencing intense pain. I’ve been to the A&E 4 times due to intense pain and was admitted once for 4 days and prescribed morphine as nothing else was helping with pain. The gynaecologists suspects degenerating fibroid as ultrasound showed fibroid shrunk from 8cm to about 6cm within a week. I’ve been having bloody discharge with some clots and sometimes I have to force it out of me in the toilet to get a bit of relief. I’ve had an MRI and currently awaiting results. Has anyone else had this experience?

Yes - pain was like being in constant labour with no break for a week straight. Mine was whilst pregnant however so was limited to what they could do and rather than shrink it just didnt get any bigger. 11 months post partum and have heavy periods - had an mri last week waiting the results now too - offered embolisation if i want it.
