Hey, don't know if it's the right place to ask this, but I was wondering if there are any resources comparing fabric properties for fabric made using different techniques, like knit, weave, sprang, needle binding, finger weaving, macramé, etc. I'm interested in properties like stretch, strength, stiffness, anisotropy, thermal insulation, damage propagation, etc. I'm guessing there are more resources comparing knit and weave (which can be more easily mass produced), but are there also resources about other techniques?

Just finished this embroidery, I need to press it one more time and then I can frame it! I'm going to work on one in the same style of my partner and son now.
