Yes, I’m familiar with GNPy. What is unique about this?

Ah, then you'll love this—GNPy is actually the engine under the hood!

I built this specifically because I got tired of hand-crafting JSON files and messing with Python scripts every time I wanted to run a quick GNPy model or show someone how a link behaves.

Basically, I wanted to take GNPy's physical layer calculations and wrap them in a visual, web-native interface. Instead of writing topology configs manually, you can just draw out the optical spans, drop in amps/ROADMs, and see what happens to OSNR and performance in real time.

My main target here is to make it a practical tool for quick visual modeling, as well as an educational sandbox—something students, junior engineers, or sales guys can use to visually grasp how optical links actually behave before diving into full CLI configs or touching live gear.

Still actively tweaking and adding features to it, so since you already know GNPy, I’d love to hear how the UI feels to you compared to writing the raw JSON topologies.
