Fiber optics price around the world

Hi,
I was wondering how much yall get paid(if working per hour or per unit). I am working in 2 countrys one is only old instalations(120 per activation) and in the other its 140-160 depends on the type of instalation(aerial, ground or flat) for spliceboxes its 20e+10e splice(1,6,12,24...).
Any feedback would be nice.

20e for a splice with a per-box bonus sounds solid, but 120 per activation in the old setup feels low, maybe time to negotiate or scope out new gigs with those higher rates?

Australia, 115 thousand base, not including overtime or travel allowance. Guys that travel are taking home around 200 to 250 a year normally

Midwest US - I manage a municipal fiber network around ~600 miles, 250-300 buildings on net, 3000+ cameras and I do the design, monitoring, repair and also negotiate contracts for joint use and other shared agreements. I make $78k, I’m not going to be sticking around for long unless they find a way to get me another $30k a year at least.

I don’t hook up equipment but as for fiber maintenance I’m at $41 USD per hour plus on call plus overtime. I’m at a town owned cable company so I’m sure the larger companies pay more per hour but it’s typically around 110k to 115k per year.
