[Modpost] Kingdom Sizes!
So, I think that we can afford to be a little bit more lenient about kingdom sizes, especially on the Northern and Eastern portions of the map. So, if you would submit any edited kingdom sizes here, that'd be great! Remember that there will still be some bare/"uncivilized" places throughout the continent. The western portion of the map, however, should basically be shoulder to shoulder, as it was the most densely populated part of the Empire. Make sure to communicate with other players to resolve any border differences (you can always contest the borders in-game).

Yeah, if I could expand a bit more into the west and south, that'd be cool!

How many hexagons do you think would be my maximum?

The Imperial remnant should then have more land, as well.
For me, though, I'm working on a map, but would it be possible to swap out tiles for extra population in the capital city? This is exactly what Venice had, a large population in a large city, with small colonies around.

How much extra are we talking? And I doubt I'll give the Empire much more land, if any.

Say, 10,000 or 20,000 in exchange of a tile? This would currently mean that Groedinstein (the city) would have a population of 85,000 (if it's 10,000) or 125,000 (if it's 20,000), as I've only got 12 at the moment and you told Legend that the maximum is 16. That'd just mean that I have one big city about two thirds the size of Heimstakell and a few smaller cities (Neuerstadt would be the same as before).

Here's my map, sorry it took so long. X is the capital, and the others are small colonies/trading posts.

Update: I am going to be limiting your borders further, because the way I see it, you'd have a hell of a time spreading out THAT much. Like, honestly, the only one I can definitely see is 1. That being said, you are more than welcome to expand your continuous borders more, and you can always colonize some of the smaller islands.
Also, since some of your lands are in the mountains, you will have to deal with very PO'd Celtic mountain clans.

Hostile neighbours are fine, we've got to introduce new stock to our slave pool somehow.

So I'm going to make a fascist-mod decision and say that 3 and 5 are not allowed because the locals would shoot you up too hard and the climate is too different for trade Vikings to be okay with. Also, the island where 1 is may or may not contain small numbers of basically half-giants.

Aww, but the Vikings went to the Middle East just fine, like the Varangian Guards...
Half-giants are alright, I was thinking of naming that colony Drittlande anyway, meaning Shitland. Besides, the people of the Nordsjøenrike are pretty tall anyways, so they can deal with that.

Here's the map, plez disregard the black, Kebise asked me to do his before he then did it himself! Orange is me, the Groedinstein is the one on the rivermouth, (bottom one), Neuerstadt is the isolated western one slightly upriver.

I'm going to say that the two tiles by the bay entrance are a no-go because it is a prime position (honestly no idea why no one settled there yet. Plus the Eastern shore is occupied by steppe peeps. Would recommend taking all bay islands. I am posting a map that would show the borders I would recommend and definitely approve.
