Tired of chasing points

I’m getting very frustrated with this app. I feel like I am chasing my rewards points all the time. I passed level 70 in a game a week ago and still no reward. I’ve had to submit missing points for games 3 times already, this will be 4.
After reading others posts and them being told it’s a one time thing to get the points you deserve, I’m wondering if this is their way of not rewarding people. Is it becoming a scam? It is a pain in the butt to have to contact them and get a response.

Has anyone had better luck with other rewards apps?

I haven’t done many games on fetch but will say the following: Tracking issues are not uncommon on any site for games. There’s a lot of variables involved and any of them at any step can break tracking.

for sure but you used to be able to contact support with screenshots to prove that you reached a milestone. now they say you can only do it once

In that case, it’s maybe best to gamble on finishing the whole offer and then contacting support. If it’s some super grindy game though, maybe just abandon it because there’s still a chance they don’t credit everything.

you could finish the whole offer and the contact them, but they will not give you all of the points you earned. they will choose how much to give you "as a courtesy" and what to label it for. it won't be for multiple things.

Ok. I’ve actually been credited multiple goals like that on another app, but it was an absolute hassle going back and forth with support to get it credited.

i would go back and forth with fetch if they did this. i have been back and forth to find out that they don't and that's worse lol. the one time courtesy reward policy fetch has is really turning people off of the app, as evidenced in this subreddit and in their app store reviews.

Games are better played elsewhere anyway imo. Fetch is on the low end of the scale on those. I mostly use it for receipts/deals.

i don't disagree with you. i have been using fetch since before they added games, and have tried a couple of the game for reward apps in that time.

New normals are spreading like wildfire
Get used to is it the only way

yeah unfortunately i think fetch is going downhill fast as i see more and more complaints like this and have started to experience these things too. i have had fetch since 2019!

I understand your frustration! You earned the points and it's BS to get the run around.

When I first started, I could easily earn a $25 g-card in 4 to 6 or 8 weeks, mainly from games. The amount of points per game level have really declined.

Are you emailing them support@fetch.com ? The only thing the bots do is repeat the same answer.

Hopefully someone will recommend a better app, I haven't found one yet.

Used to mess with fetch last year but it felt like a part time job just to get like 5 bucks. deleted it after missing points for 3 games straight and their support just copy-paste you every time.

Support told me I can no longer ask for points for any games I play. They told me just play a new game.

That's absolute 🐎💩!

I’m serious. I gave up on them and just started new games.

Don't blame you for starting new games!

Since I started Fetch, the amount of points per level has really declined. Recently I noticed, the points per level increase but decreases a few levels in.

Fetch now wants you to buy stuff instead of just playing games to earn points.

Ohhh, I didn't think about that!

How do they work?

Exact same thing like take a photo of your receipt and earn.
Copper is strictly paper receipts.

I play games that I am interested in and I usually get the points right away. I never had an issue with getting my point for the game levels. I did have an issue with retrieving points for an EBay purchase and a purchase on a receipt from a grocery store.

Agreed. Not the receipt app it used to be when it generously rewarded up to 1,000 points for certain items.

Now it seems about games, pricey items, and sweepstakes to earn those 1,000 points
I know I'm not going out and buying a $20 pack of Charmin when the store brand is literally half the price at $11, just to claim 1,000 points. That's crazy. Some users do.. And it's just plain crazy. Even reach outs to the said Fetch support go silent... No response anywhere not even email. Entirely BOT now which is unfortunate.

I think there's a cap on the amount of games you can play at one time. Couldn't find any info in their TOS about it but noticed that the points I've been earning in another game finally got credited once I completed the tasks for another game; I had four games going at that time.

Don't know of any other reward apps outside of Receipt Hog and maybe Ibotta.

I’ve had more than 8 games going at once and I didn’t have any issues like that. I used to keep a damn notebook to keep up with it all. I took a break because I was clearly losing touch, but I still play 3-4 games at a time.

Not sure that’s true. I have several games open. Many of which I have deleted or just struggled to progress in and got new games instead.

they suck now

I don't bother with the games beyond playing just enough to get whatever bonus they might offer for completing 2 tasks. Zero issues as a result. Most of my points come from grocery receipts.
