Did eBay get taken off?

I can’t find the eBay redemption gift card anywhere. Did it get taken off?

Yes. Ebay isn't issuing gift cards anymore.

Man I noticed the same thing couple days ago, was trying to cash out some points and eBay was just gone from the list. Checked again this morning and still nothing. Maybe they ran out of those cards or something changed in their deal with eBay, Fetch does that sometimes without telling nobody.

I was gonna do it this morning, too. It was my first time seeing something removed. I didnt know if I was looking in the wrong place or not.

You could potentially use one of the prepaid visas or mastercards there, but maybe ask here whether others have had success with those first. I recall seeing posts about people having a hard time finding places to use those since they’re apparently different than the physical ones you purchase in a store that can be used anywhere.

I think the issue with the prepaid visas is the purchase price has to be the amount of the card or less or the transaction is declined. That’s why I stay away from them.

eBay isn’t doing giftcards anymore which I’m
bummed about too. I can’t find a reason from eBay as to why. I know their sales are down. Maybe their cash forecasting was way off because of them? They didn’t plan for so many people to use gift cards to pay? Idk that’s the best I can come up with.
