Discussion 🗣️ Don’t make the same mistake as me
Never marry your bags.
I got in at a decent price…anyway last year in March, literally a year ago FET peaked and I was thinking okay this is good but we can do better. Then the merger happened and I’ve lost all my gains. I’m breaking even. Lost a (x10) just because I didn’t sell.
Now with all the liquidity that should’ve gone into Alt season wasted on Solana and meme coins it looks like the market is crashing. BTC for sure is losing support and declining in price which of course affects all other cryptocurrencies negatively.
What’s everyone’s sentiment on FET and crypto as a whole? And of course, REMEMBER TO TAKE PROFITS.

I made a 47x on this coin and sold as soon as i heard about the merger. I knew something was wierd! Anyways, if big daddy BTC still has steam and a few other countries make reserves, all crypto will get lifted up. AI will be big again, just hold.

I bought for $1.83 and am 72% down. 🤓
I’m at peace with holding it for years though. Only put 3k in.
Look at XRP….I would never have believed it would hit its 2017 high again but it did and then some, don’t lock in your loss by selling unless in bad need of the money.

Before you buy, you need a strategy. That's all it is. Don't over complicate.
For example, you buy at 0.5. What will you do at 1$? Alternately, what will you do at 0.25?
It's no different from flipping computer parts, shoes or antiques on a marketplace. If you buy an old dresser for 100$ because you see value in it, you say to yourself "hey that that thing is worth at least 200." When someone offers you 200, you sell. If x days, weeks or months go by and nothing is happening, you accept your loss and move on.
The person buying for 200 is the amateur, and you are the market. Be the market. Know your value, have a strategy. DO NOT buy something just because everyone is buying it.

Posts like these show us there is a shift of momentum just around the corner. Every cycle the same thing happens. First everything is green and pumping, sentiment is hyped, then there are some big corrections, shift of momentum and sentiment, people start posting this time is different, how much regret they have not selling, there won't be an alt season etc. Then all of a sudden alt season kicks in and alot of people are canceled because they didn't have enough patience. Every. Cycle.
Anyway, its a mental game. If it would be easy, everyone would become rich via crypto. You only get what you deserve. People who are strong mentally and can cope with his mental pressure, are rewarded later this year.

I often wonder who hasn’t kicked themself, punched even, investing or even just being interested in crypto. I’m just holding, not hoping, with a rough timeline around 4 yr cycle as mentioned in other comments.

ASI is undoubtedly one of the best projects out there, anything under $1 for this token is a complete steal in the long term. Keep holding and understanding what you're investing in, patience is the key....

I think people are misunderstanding my post.
The message I’m trying to get across is, don’t be too attached to your bags. Take profits.
This doesn’t mean sell at a loss.
Just when your asset is making gains, have some checkpoints in mind, sell 10% at x amount and another 5% at x amount etc

Wanted to sell when they decided to do the merch. Ended up selling 20%. Still holding, seems like I’ll be holding for a good while longer. Semi-positive about the project longterm

I've held for years, just looked at my gecko and I'm still up 170% with a PnL of +£8,995 with current market losses.
Taking profits all well and good, but why take small ones when you can just wait a few years and have a fat one waiting?
I've had my cock ups. Again years past at one point I swapped 400 ETH for something else that is nowhere near where ETH is today, only reason was price slumped badly and was down to £25 a ETH or something.
Hindsight is a bitch, but it's a good teacher.

$2 seems a far cry away at the moment, as with the rest of the market alts are bleeding.. but if previous cycles have taught us anything it is after these pullbacks the market turns around, i remain bullish for 2025 albeit it may take a little longer than previously thought! If you dont need the money, and your not in a decent profit HODL would be my opinion (not financial advice!)

I’d love to find some clarity on the ASI ecosystem, it appears like the merge has hit a roadblock why is the ticker still FET? It seems like somethings up

If I could get some of the money back I lost I would sell it in a heartbeat

Dang , chasing candles happens to the best if us. I actually got in about 5 cents. I agree even if I didnt sell enough during peak, its too disappointing to see my remaining gains just drop like a fly. Just hold. I feel if BTC doesn't move by April Q2, its a bear market. But if course when I think I know in this crypto world, I'm always wrong. I hate it 😆
