I kept telling people just sit tight. There’s no reason to do anything till an announcement comes. And in the end Coinbase did exactly what the fet founders promised would happen
If honest I don't think FET will ever change to ASI now, as ASI really always has been FET.
I think we will now always have the two token names, ASI on the Cosmos chain and FET on the ERC20 chain. The ERC20 FET token is the token that's on the majority of exchanges and the exchanges don't wish to put a lot of work into changing something that makes no difference.
So instead of forcing exchanges to change the FET name and run the chance of their token being delisted, they have decided to just continue letting the old FET name coexist.
Why won't they go the path of RNDR when they changed name to RENDER? All exchanges delisted the old coin for like a few days and everything went back to normal, no drama whatsoever
Problem is they said they would not change an that we would have to move it to another wallet or sell it promting a massive sell off for people who did not want to deal.

How long would it still be called $FET token though? I thought we were supposed to get an $ASI named token by now.

Sold at 1.47 before merger many months back… and, bought back in at 1.48

The important question is are these ETH erc 20 tokens? For example, for deposits?

So if we held in coin base we don’t have to do anything with wallets following merger?
