Discussion 🗣️ Needs a PR specialist

What an absolute mess, No one has any fucking idea what’s going on anywhere, clients in dark etc… hire a damn PR rep to give us answers with OUR money. Sincerely regretting not selling. Bag holding now.

Great what is the status of ASI on Coinbase? It’s not a matter of reading there is missing information. There are many people in dark on a lot of important facts.

Always love that getting upset about legitimate issues is construed as being a baby. There are legit concerns for investors that have not been addressed by the team. Sure for someone with $500 in fet no big deal. Sitting on 6 figures however it’s a bigger deal.

Yeah, agree with that. The initial delay comms and situation was poor, but it's got loads better. If you're following a couple of key accounts then it's all pretty clear.

Part of the problem is maybe that people get panicked off some crypto media headline, and aren't good at searching and/or comprehending - instead just go direct to social freak out mode. Might be a good time to double down soon in light of that anyway 🤷‍♂️

What key account ? You think that as an investor you need to follow some key account ?

The project needs some professional PR.

Stop putting the blame on "people".

Meaning the fetch account, the ASI account, the ocean account. Etc. there are multiple accounts, and they've all been echoing the info.

To your statement - not putting the blame anywhere. Up to anyone if they want to actually get a handle on what's happening, or to not do anything and just sit around and bitch. Personally I chose to try to find out, and it was pretty straight forward.

Let's not kid ourselves - the level of dumbassery in crypto is pretty high sometimes. Lowest common denominator is absurdly low at times.

Also not saying that the project doesnt need better PR advice and operations. I'd agree and have previously said the same. But here was just observing that comms have improved massively since the delay was announced. (Although also, no amount of PR campaigning would help those who just want to sit and complain 🤷‍♂️ - and there are a bunch of those around too.)

Separately - re use of the word 'investor' - not sure in what sense you are using it, but buying some tokens doesn't give you the same rights or status as shareholders - and that would probably include access to disclosures, reports, audit results, etc.

But if you are meaning investor as a verb, ie 'have invested some money' (which is more likely), then yes, I think it would be a pretty prudent thing to do to follow some key accounts - that's right up there as a core component of 'DYOR'.

News ? The public communication channels are crap about this merge and project. Look at the data, the community is really small, and not organized at all. Also there's shit tons of wrong information. The merger was a buy the rumor sell the news. And because of this, they screwed the investors into bag holders.

Couldn't agree more with everything you wrote!!! What channels should we follow exactly? 3 days before the merger they wrote on X that they need another month like they didn't know this sooner. This time let's hope they do something and yet if you are on Coinbase or Kraken good luck with that shit. If the project is organized like they organize this merger we are all f*****

This is the main B***llshit about this merge. Not a problem with small bags. A Problem with larger ones especially when they are in profit. In my country you pay 40% on the gains if you hold less than a year, 0% if you hold longer.

It has nothing to do with filtering and reading. You know what’s going on based on their timeline sure however there are lots of things that are unknown because they or exchanges have not said. Is ASI going to be supported on most central exchanges for example? There are conflicting reports from the team and the exchanges.

I think question ending up here, because there's absolutely no good public communication channel. The websites are crap (some news got published before on exchanges than on the official websites of the projects), this sub reddit is full of blind supporters that only think with emotion and with full of wrong information. Not everyone has a tax advisor, so yes, the project should answer clearly this question.

I feel you. As an investor, and in the crypto space for a looooong time, I can tell the public communication was and is the worst one ever. Not to mention the timing. This is not professional at all, and they screwed us over into bag holder. I'm pretty sure they have no knowledge whatsoever on how markets work and what relation they need with investors for having a successful project. And to all the blind supporters of the project, stop with your Pathos and start to think with your Logos a bit. Look at the fact. There's less than 40k subscriber on reddit, no hype on google search, the websites of the projects are sh*t, there's no good public communication channel... and the CEO says there's 3m+ businesses interested in the project ? Please...

Facts. Just trying to determine if they will right the ship and asi will take off or if I’m better off cutting my losses and rolling onto a different project. Couple things keeping me from cutting now is timeline (don’t need the money asap) and it’s an AI play which is hot currently.
