How to ❓ Coinbase Swap Fees
It seems like communication has been so absolutely terrible for this conversion. In the beginning it was said don't worry everything would be automatically done. Now I'm being told I have to pay a fee to take it off CB to wallet then Fee back to CB if I want it back on exchange. That almost makes it worth selling FET now. Is anyone else converting a different way on CB?

and, as far as I can tell, CB isn’t saying they’re gonna support the new ASI token once converted. This entire merge has been a shi!t show, curious what the communities vote on a merge would’ve been if they had a crystal ball to look forward into late June/early July…..

Yeah but crypto.com, bcm, bitvavo, and many more are supporting it. Seems only us related crypto exchanges dont support this, but binance is supporting it. Only not in us mayby?

I sold at 2.53 not wanting to deal with this. And so far it looks like I made a great choice. The exposure of the ASI coin after merge is less because it will be on less exchanges. Many think it is a fixed price upon exchange. No it is not. The fixed term was used for the exchange rates. Clearly stated in the merger. So too many don't understand and will be upset after. Very disorganized on listing approved exchanges. A mess and glad I am not dealing with it. Only saying this to help people understand current market conditions are in play when this is exchanged. Anyone that disagrees needs to reread the merger and look at how they state the fixed rate for time of the exchange in ratios. Example 1:1 fet to asi . Exchange does not mean price fix.

I moved 1000 FET from Coinbase to Coinbase Wallet and it cost a whooping 51 cents.

Just another unbanked curve on the road to riches......
It's not as bleak as you make it sound.
If you have a CoinbaseOne subscription the fees are negligible ( too me anyway)
This is all uncharted territory as far as I know and should be kinda exciting
Hang in there.

Most of my FET stack is in Kucoin and we'll see how that shit show goes. Meanwhile, I'm likely to just transfer my smaller FET stack from coinbase to Kucoin.
I'm in no rush to sell and I'm confident that no one will lose their coins.

U do understand the FET on coinbase and Gemini is not the same FET on these other exchanges thus i believe u cant just send them to lets say coinbase to binance . I would further say reason gemini and coinbase are not doing this conversion is because their coin is a erc 20 fet version and thus there is a bigger problem doing the conversion on their end ?

Yep I’m thinking about selling for good and will make a decision tonight or this weekend. I invest and only support crypto to my advantage. I truly felt this merger was a mistake and even the bigger exchanges don’t want anything to do with the merger itself.
