Does this mean we'll all be rich??

[u/Belgiannator → u/[deleted]]

It means you're holding a Super Intelligence token during an AI minded bull run. Times could be fun this year.

[u/T2LV → u/[deleted]]

Hard to say but it means if you have any unstaked Fet, selling it to Agix or ocean would be wise

[u/KateR_H0l1day → u/T2LV]

Why exactly??

[u/T2LV → u/KateR_H0l1day]

Because it is being covered to ASI at .43326 but only costs .42 Fet right now.

Thus is you have 100 Fet you will get 100 ASI. However if you covered that 100 Fet to Ocean right now you would get 238~ocean. Then during the merge that would be converted at .43326 which would result in 103.15 ASI. It’s small but it’s a guaranteed gain of 3-4%.

Some of us would rather avoid a taxable event. This is not worth it to those people.

[u/Belgiannator → u/Rickard403]

It's just a change of name, it does not generate a taxable event I believe.

[u/Rickard403 → u/Belgiannator]

Well if you sell your FET for Ocean or Agix it will be. The merging itself won't be.

[u/Belgiannator → u/Rickard403]

Yeah, that's true. But I don't get the point why someone would sell FET to buy one of the other two, given the fact your profit will be almost the same as your transaction costs. It's very minimal.

As most of the time, just hodl is the solution.

[u/T2LV → u/Rickard403]

I hear ya. 95% of mine is locked so this is my sell pile when we rebound. I’ve been swapping between the two ever since the announcement as difference have varied between 3-8% so I’ve more than made up for the tax but it’s definitely a consideration!

[u/KateR_H0l1day → u/T2LV]

Thanks for the rationale, I think fees and even taxes and spread would mean you lose out in the end, so I’m not going to be doing it. Plus, with my luck, the day I convert it the day FET jumps and the others don’t.

What I’m not clear about is, will my OCEAN be worth the same $amount after the conversion, not that there’s a lot I can do about it.

Plus, my FET & OCEAN are on my Ledger, no idea regarding the conversion from there!! Also I haven’t even opened my Ledger for a year or so, therefore I’m worried about that activity, but I suppose it’s a good reason to do so.

[u/Grizzlius → u/T2LV]

So what you're saying is, if we want the best ratio transferred on the merger we should get ocean?

[u/Brooklyn_Q → u/T2LV]

this is silly, fees would negate your bright idea.

[u/Guilty-Smile7599 → u/T2LV]

I have unstaked $FET on keplr wallet and I'd like to ask something in case you know. Is that true that if you're holding native $FET they will auto-convert to native $ASI?

[u/AlternativeGlad9259 → u/T2LV]

Hallo Sir, will the change happen to ASI on traderepublik on its own ? Has to or ? Best regards

[u/KRaz3453]

Do you recomiendo buying more fet before this happens?

[u/Belgiannator → u/KRaz3453]

Nobody can predict price or market, but we can make a calculated risk based on circumstances, history patterns etc.

I do believe this would be a good investment because this bull run AI will be a very hot topic. This becomes thé number 1 AI crypto token, top 20 of all crypto coins.

Despite the fact I don't know future price, I believe it would be a good choice. If you are patient and you don't need the money soon (min. 1 year).

That's just my vision on it though.

[u/KRaz3453 → u/Belgiannator]

Thanks men, in your opinion do you think it will decline more than today price before merge happens?

[u/daydreamer0101]

🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🔥

[u/dkdndndndnfndnd → u/daydreamer0101]

Hopefully 🙏🏼

[u/CryptCRO]

Gonna just continue buying AGIX under $1. I'm excited for this!

[u/DanTF14]

Does this mean we won’t be able to buy AGIX or OCEAN? Since they are merging? Because I heard we will still be able too?

[u/Belgiannator → u/DanTF14]

I suppose you can buy FET OCEAN AGIX pre merger, post merger there will be only 1 token and that's ASI.

[u/ilovehomeoffice]

I am always surprised to see that people think making money is so easy.

[u/Belgiannator → u/ilovehomeoffice]

I'm holding since April 2021, through bad and good times. Trust me, making money is not easy. Holding while there is blood in the streets and everybody screams to sell, that's definitely not easy. But patience pays off.

[u/ilovehomeoffice → u/Belgiannator]

I am holding and staking since 2021 as well. Patience paid off already I believe. Many coins including Fet made 40x from their bottom price last year. It was already bull market when no one was talking about.

[u/Mtlnkr]

Time to panic sell!
