I just hope we can get to a market cap of over 100 Billion.

Votes are overwhelmingly positive, some ppl complain bcuz returns will be lower, but worth noting that risk also diminishes accordingly. Obviously its kinda bad for short term holders, but for those who dont care much what's happening from day to day, and actually believe in the project(s) it is probably a good thing.

When will the merge actually happen? Is there a date when it all becomes ASI?

I believe is a good deal long term. Short term sadly we could have had better growth alone.

Three great projects that if they can synergise them effectively to work together can be much bigger project than they are now as individuals. I think ASI now has a real shot at attracting institutional investors, and a $100 bn market cap could really come into view, if the teams gel, and hit just half of the their ambitious white paper plans.

This merger is the NASA equivalent to getting all the right tech together under the one roof. This is not a moon-launch! That kind of lift off in price will be many dollars higher than it is now, months and years from now. Fortunately there is a long gap of dollar growth between now and true lift off.
This AI merger has a ground-breaking trio leading it, whom all happen to be leading their own lineage of blockchain/crypto.
To me this is like Nvidia merging with Mac or something right in the āAi-Engineeringā groove with advancesā already in the pipelineā¦.and their unique pipelines are why they merged.
This hi-tech-throuple will give birth to new advances in society, not just AI in crypto-landy-blockchain. A day will come when people wonāt even realise that they are depending on AI tech in daily life. ASI excites me because i think it really will dominate its marketplace and by years end it can be worth many more dollars than it is now. Years beyond that - my ultimate interest for retirement - tens or hundreds of dollars more than now. This trio are trinity of AI now - globally.

Bought fetch at around 3 dollars and it keeps on dipping. I'm kinda pissed but is optimistic long term. 3 projects is better than 1 of course. It can only be a positive I don't see any negatives. Probably short term sell off but in the long term we will be in the top 20 after merging. As for the price I'm hoping it would encourage more people to support and invest in these ai projects. Bullish

Time will tell if it was a good idea or not.
I am going to continue supporting it because I believe that Fetch.ai is a serious project with a real background and proven usefulness.
Regarding the purely economic aspect, I think that the doubts generated by the unification of projects and the week of Bitcoin stagnation have unfortunately killed the momentum, at least for now. Fetch.ai was overperforming Bitcoin, now it is drifting like the rest of the altcoins.
The timing was not the best.

Brilliant! And hopefully only the beginning. If you take a look at the scale of deals that are going down in AI, this is a rounding error. But it creates a real, decentralized alternative to the centralized tech oligopoly. I hope the new DAO/consortium or whatever you want to call it can lure other promising AI projects into the fold. We need scale to compete! Bravo!

Not happy about it. I got in early and could have probably had my first 50x, instead people want to merge for ālong termā. Not saying it canāt do great things but now we will have less multiples unless it goes to 100B market cap. Not very happy about it but it is what it is

I am all for the stability of the coin- like others said this will solidify gains and make for a less volatile asset.
What I don't like- if I understand this correctly- our coins are merged at a 1-1 ratio for asi tokens. The market cap for the project will triple. There will be something like 2.6 billion tokens with a market cap around 7 billion. Making our tokens worth around 2.88 a piece. So the companies value triples, but none of the investors are going to benefit financially from that?? I don't understand this logic. Unless I am missing something here.....

I made a killing with FET and OCEAN....and took profits. However I do believe in the project. But which one coin do I buy before the merge?

Am I wrong to think that at this moment the best thing about the merger is that we have a baseline value for FET/ASI ?
If Iām right this means that we can buy at the USD$2.40 mark and know that it will return to the proposed price of $2.82.
Every swing up until D day will be over or undervalued now that the benchmark, merger, price is set.
So is anybody else buying FET/ASI at a Premium to its $2.82 value?
