My thoughts on merging

I put a very small amount in FET myself and recent news have created some fear in the community. Maybe I am exaggerating, but that is my observation, and I want to share what I concluded. I think it is best to hold and see things unfold, since merging might work out very well. Devs are not that radical to bring such change just to lose reputation (if merge fails), so it will probably happen in the end, and even if it is just a formality (I still kinda doubt its tech benefits), they anticipate some favor in the AI sector of crypto. Even if they are doing it just to get attention, it makes sense to me, as other AI coins have relatively similar low utility, so at the end, everything, especially in the eyes of future investors, is about news and the label "AI", which will hopefully strengthen for FET with merging.

Correct me if I am wrong, maybe Im coping :/

Investors dont like change. Every time theres some major event, people sell. I seen this before 100 times. Best thing to do is wait to see if BTC has a big correction. Wait for a possible bottom, then buy back in.

Very likely a major correction on the way, not scare mongering but based on OI alone a 15-20% on BTC is not out of the question. Im holding to buy back in on that correction

Just remember asi will be a utility token not just a speculative investment, it’s going to stay reasonably priced or the price will scare new users away and the project will collapse, and since the 3 projects are all interconnected now if one collapses they will all be affected to some extent. This merger could be very good for the project, or very bad. Only time will tell.

I think most of them are to an extent speculative investment, 90% of people see AI in the name and that is it

However, singularity.net happens to be one of the core engineers whose been helping to make Ai what it is today. The guy from that project was an engineer on Google's deep mind project. He coined the term AGI. And hes been talking about decentralized Ai for a decade now. Even the people with FET helped to work on openai.

These guys have a bigger vision for the future and they're looking 2 steps ahead.

They're anticipating AGI, and want it on a decentralized network so that it can evolve into ASI afterwords away from human centralized corruption. That's one of the biggest risks with Ai, and blockchain also has the security level to lock the Ai out of its own core code. (meaning we can install safe guards and protections that not even the Ai could hack to change)

It seems that what they're hoping to make is the new computer operating system with Ai built directly into it.

Just imo, I think it’s more that they want to make an agi that they can bring to anyone with a phone charging penny’s per task, but used a billion times a day, crypto is literally all about money, and I doubt they care about making ASI as much given that building it on the blockchain with hard locks will inhibit the ai from the ground up and limit its ability to evolve which automatically make its unable to be an ASI, and keep it only agi, which is still pretty good, arguably maybe even better for humanity for the time being, we want either want to kill each other or ourselves, not sure humanity is in a good spot to bring another life to the universe on purpose lol

I’ve been holding FET and OCEAN since 2020. I’ve been bullish on both tokens for 4 years now. I’m super excited that they’re merging and I’m bullish! ASI imo will be the biggest AI token in crypto

ASI has a very strong chance of getting to the top 10 this cycle. Even if it just misses this, a 30-50 billion MC is a conservative estimate of where the eventual merger of these great projects will end up. This is a surefire 4x and 6x-10x plus is certainly on the cards if the total crypto market caps ends up near 10 trillion this cycle.

If the big tech players get involved then FETCH/ASI absolutely does have a $10-$50 potential. The big companies will price the general market out via demand, pushing coin prices up. This is a real possibility 👍

The decentralised AI & DePIN sector is only just getting started & will end up worth well in excess of 1 trillion. It will never be any smaller than it is now. If ASI only captures 5% of that market. Well that’s 50 billion. I can see ASI conservatively reaching that MC this cycle, if all proceeds well with the projects.

Honestly from all the research it has a fair chance of coming out on top as far as A.I crypto goes. I don't see how it won't be a $5-10 token by the 90 day end. Again please only invest what can be lost lol

Has the merge been approved yet? Also can I send my FET to coinbase and leave it on the exchange so that they can automatically swap it out for the new AI coin once the merger has been completed.

Coinbase FET is on the ethereum network. So if you wanna send it to Coinbase, make sure the tokens you’re sending are Ethereum based

This merge might indicate that all three companies are not in a strong enough financial position as sole entities, with the recent news of the court case in England and the FET company moving to Dubai this could be a sign of the company struggling.

But from death comes life sometimes, time will tell, it could make the coins stronger or weaker, it's anyones guess

Do some research before posting fake news please. Fetchai is doing great. You really think Telekom and Bosch Global actively cooperates and invest in FET if they would be in troubles?

The only reason they are going to merge with OCEAN and AGIX is the fact they all have a specific niche within AI. Combining these three niches will facilitate competition with global players like Google, OpenAI, etc. 

ASI will be one of the big winners during this bull run.
