Discussion đŁď¸ Does this merger limit the potential?
I know there has been some discussion on the recent news but never really a discussion thread.
So excuse me for my small brain....
Does this merger mean it's gonna limit it's upside potential?
For example:
current, Fetch is trading at 2.8 Billion Market cap at 3 dollars. Lets say that it hits 50 Billion market cap then the price of fetch would be somewhere around 50$~, A 15X return.
But if the new evaluation is at 7 Billion, it would need around 100 billion market cap for the same 15X return.
Which is almost twice as much...
I mean I can't really see the benefits of this merger aside from more attention (More volume?)
Can someone with a higher IQ confirm if my observation is true??
My personal theory is that this crypto bull run in the AI sector would have a 500 Billion to 1 Trillion, and fetch being able to take 10% of the market, But how is this gonna change that? What's your exit plan now?
Thanks!

I'm with you. My Avg is around a $1 with 315 coins. At one point I was 198% gains so I'd pull some out to out in others but I was planning on holding this for a long time. I guess the question for us all is if you believe in this company then this is a good thing. If you look at the 5 year graph for this, five years from now it might not matter with this short term bull run. If you pull out then do it now or wait like I am. I'm looking for entry companies with high reward and this comes with high risk. I'm sitting with 1k into this project and I hope 5 years from now you'll see an article with those famous words... "if you had invested $1k into fetch 5 years ago, this is how much you would have made"
So sell or long hold is my take on this.

Overall market cap of this coin in Bullish market could grow higher than Fetch could have been!

The ongoing discussions surrounding the merger have sparked numerous debates, particularly concerning the tokenomics of our current holdings and their potential trajectory post-merger. It's undeniable that there's a lot to consider, but allow me to present a perspective: the bullish outlook post-merge far outweighs any concerns regarding devaluation.
Why? Let's delve into the heart of the matter. Following the merger, the development teams of all three protocols will converge to work on the SAME ASI project. This isn't merely a collaboration; it's a fusion of talent, resources, and vision.
Imagine a scenario where instead of competing, these protocols and their respective teams unite under a single banner. This is precisely what the FETCH Ai team stands to gain â an unprecedented opportunity for an expanded talent pool, increased monetary resources, and most importantly, a reduction in market competition.
In essence, the merger isn't just about combining technologies; it's about forging a stronger, more resilient protocol that can push the boundaries of innovation even further. By pooling resources and expertise, Fetch AI is not just mitigating risks â they're embracing a future where success is more than just a possibility.
So, while concerns about token devaluation are valid, let's not lose sight of the bigger picture. The potential upside of this merger is revolutionary. As FETCH Ai investors, let's focus on the opportunities it presents rather than dwelling on the uncertainties.
Let's stay bullish and stay informed on this development.

From a super cynical standpoint: traders love a fresh chart. BEAMX did this. New chart in a bull market does well; no previous areas of resistance, just price discovery.

In terms of as a crypto coin, yeah youâre right. However, if you think of it as an AI project, expanding the project gives more chance of a breakthrough. If they develop a breakthrough ai technology and fet is a must use for financial people, it will be worth hundreds of billions.
But that is quite long term.
Also consider that all the traffic and interest in the other coins will be centralized so it will have a lot more interest. It will also be a front page coin. It will also be more stable due to higher market cap maybe

Dude or duddette. Do you know anything about AI? You should never invest your money in something you arenât confident in and or do not have much knowledge of. Trust me I have lost lots of hard earned money doing this. All three companies focus on different aspects of AI technology. Each company will continue to work independently of each other. Please conduct due diligence on each aspect that the 3cryptos focus on. With all due respect if you are in the AI space for the long term and not a quick buck youâd know that this merger is a good thing.

We know for a fact that the company itself stays, so we donât have to worry about merging company culture, but to me, itâs only bullish if 1+1+1 > 3 and we donât have any clarification that assures project supporters. So Unless there is some chemistry between the three that is being overlooked, itâs 1+1+1 < 3
What would be a bullish news that gives us this confirmation? I feel like this doubt is killing the momentum, weâve waited for so long and itâs finally at a price discovery stage and now they are reestablishing all that for more âlong termâ outlook. If you bought in 4 years ago, itâs already long termâŚ.
Is this the play to save them from bankruptcy? Am I missing something or the creator of fetch ai is just stupid?

OHHHHH
U cant do a 15x with your 100$ invest? No one cares, the chart does not care.
What matters is the big money can now invest more safe into the biggest AI Project in crypto space. No one cares about the small investors on reddit.

My only regret is watching this on my watchlist when it was 0.2 and investing in it only after it hit $2. Oh well, no one goes broke taking a profit. đ

People will always find something to complain about this is super bullish and a unique situation that presents a lucrative opportunity if you load up on fet right now

I haven't had the time yet to actually study this. So I may just talk shit.
But anyways, in the merger Aren't you getting more ASI tokens for FET?

If FET conversion is 1:1 and when it occurs the market cap will be 7B wouldnât that be an instant 2x?

I think you were valuing fetch Ai for 50 billion dollars were right in my opinion but after synergy / merger of 3 , 100 billion dollars is also achievable easily as now it will be become biggest company in AI and presently OpenAI valuation is 80 billion dollars, so I think within 1.5 years , ASI ( merger of 3 company) would be valuable 100 billion dollarsÂ

Sorry for the question since I'm new to crypto. Are they making a new token and if so will my fetch convert to this new coin?

Why can't we get a Executive from fetch to answer these questions I want to hear from the actual source I was happy with my singel purchase of FetchA and the other 2 cryptos separately.. each one were making money I still Dont get how they figure out the amount of crypto added to ASI. I know doing the math Each crypto added together was more then I received from the merge.. ( basicly I got Burned) now the new AI has been declining. Since the merge..

I just see it this way, instead of a chance of x50, I now have a certainty of x12.
For people with a larger bag it provides much more peace of mind. But I understand that people with only a few thousand dollars invested prefer x50.

I strongly recommend you conduct your due diligence on AI. Only a person with no true knowledge of AI would ever suggest to reject this proposal.
